Gordo Taqueria is cheap and greasy! Yum!  4 Star Rating - Very good

I've been coming to this place since grade school. I love the quesadillas -- they're not folded over and flat like your traditional quesadilla, they're folded into thirds and fried in some delicious grease! So tasty. This is by no means a traditional Mexican place, but that doesn't make it any less of a great stop for cheap food in the Richmond.

I love their bean and cheeser burritos. There's only two things I can say that are bad 1)I hate it how you have to add on all the good stuf 2)too many flies around the place. But its still super good.

BEST burritos around  5 Star Rating - World class

By Elayna N. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 972

Gordo's has one of the best burritos in SF. I love the food here. The carne asada burrito is amazing. The ingredients do not taste as greasy as most other Mexican restaurants and they stuff the burrito well. The prices are very reasonable as well! I prefer this Gordo's to the one on Clement because it is newer and cleaner and has places to sit at. The parking is pretty hard to find because it is on Geary, but this place is definitely worth it. Get the guacamole and chips! It is so amazingly good. Try Gordo's and you won't be disappointed!

Simple but tasty  5 Star Rating - World class

The burritos here are shockingly good despite the seeming simplicity of the ingredients and the dirt cheap prices. The secret seems to be the way they steam the cheese onto the tortilla. It allows the cheese to be evenly distributed along the length of the burrito and helps the whole thing stick together. I recommend the super bean and cheese burrito, and don't forget to add guacamole and sour cream.
