This shop has quite a few nice things to "look at" but I don't know how many times I've gone in and picked something up that wasn't priced. I know the saying, "if you have to ask, then you can't afford" so I never really buy. I think I bought a magnet once (had to ask 3 girls what the price was on it), and have seen a few cute things (I love things "French" but there doesn't seem to be much of that here anymore). I usually feel like I'm being watched, although not being helped, so I don't get the best vibe from here. Nice to look at, but I'm always afraid to touch...

I feel like I am in Europe! This shop is a luxe, eclectic, slightly funky venue overflowing with quality expensive Euro-styled goods to affordable little pick-me-ups. You can find anything here, that you will not see anywhere. I say this because I shop here when I need a special gift for that person you want to give something special. The staff is helpful enough, but not too helpful.... I know you will love this shop.

When shop first opened it was filled with great choices and it was difficult to decide what to buy. Now the shop is 'tired' looking at best and impossible to find a simple gift. Many items have been on the shelves long enough to have evaporated (i.e. difusser oils).

Cute store if you like antiques, chandleliers and candles. They have really good selection of candles. There is also a good selection of isabella fiore handbags. While I certainly didn't see a any celebrities or a big social scene happening I also don't agree with the previous reviewer's assessment that the store is cheesy. Ok those, aprons are cheesy but, doesn't everyone need alittle cheese evry now and then?

This store belongs on Melrose or in Carmel. It was a real surprise to find such a hip, interesting boutique so far from the City. The products ranged from trendy Hollywood accessories like Desperate Housewives aprons, Lotion Glow soy candles to sophisticated wall decor like Sid Dickens collectible tiles. From chandeliers to high back chairs all of the items have a unique quality about them. This has to be one of the most interesting stores this side of Los Angeles and one of the best kept secrets around.

I LOVE this store! I bought one of the Sid Dickens Tiles from here 4 years ago for apx $75.00 and now it's worth $2000.00. My wife and I are addicted to them. There are people who are not Sid Savvy, and think the knock offs are real, buy them here, or find a Sid Dickens store from there Web site. They are awesome...
Back to Three French Hens, they have high end items, Isabella Fiore handbags, Bond No. 9 Perfume, Cool Designer books like Tom Ford, D&G, Flair. French Soaps and linens, Italian Ceramics, Crystal Chandeliers, Hand painted furniture. They carry XVCI cloths, and Trina Tarantino...many, many more beautifull things!
This store is so hip and trendy it should be in 90210, but we have it in 91711.. OK... If you are looking for cheap and cheesy don't shop here..It's a designer store, with designer prices. Check it out for yourself...

I went into Three French Hens looking for a gift for my wife. The friendly staff there helped me pick out a Heavenly Hostess apron. Thanks to the sexy apron my wife has actually put my $4000 Viking oven to use! Three cheers to Three French Hens.

There is no other store like it. An amazing collection of eclectic items. It's a shoppers paradise with trendy apparel and accessories right out of the pages of the latest magazines. I could not believe the choices from collectible wall tiles, Desperate Housewives sexy aprons, the coolest books...there's nothing cheap about this store. It would be hugely popular on Melrose or in a more fashionable area. This is not your typical mega-mall store. I have been back several times and it's never the same place twice. There's home decor items, apparel and unusual gift ideas that make shopping for something unique a one-stop affair. I especially enjoyed the Artwalk event. The place became the Village social center for the evening with hor's d'ouevres and live music. This place is a franchise in the making. I have instructed my husband to go there the next time he needs a gift idea...for me of course. You must check it out.

When I first came into Three French Hens the first thing that I thought was I could find a gift for just about anyone here - its small, but personal - quite, but intimate. Big bonus - it not some corporate money sucker. I think everyone need to take a look in this store.

I really have tried hard to like this store. There is lots of stuff in here but nothing really that I would buy. I do like these interesting tiles on their wall but I think they are kind of pricey. One of the people that worked there kept telling me about the tiles being on ebay for so much more money but, I checked and there are lots on ebay but for about $20 less than what the french hen was charging.

I saw alot of merchandise that was in Homegoods and Ross. This is kind of a fun place to browse, if you're not claustrophobic but I would think twice before purchasing.

PROS: colorful, lots of different things
CONS: overpriced and slightly cheesy
