.

Today, we adopted a homeless cat from Milo Foundation who happened to have their mobile outreach in front of "George". While my wife was filling out the adoption papers, I and my two toddler sons visited the pet store in order to pick out a few new things for our newest family addition. Pricey, yeah, but our new pet would be worth every penny, right?
Well, turns out that my sons (extremely excited from adopting a new cat) were trying out some of the squeaky toys, conveniently located in kid's reach at the entry door. I was happy to see the kid's having fun and laughing, not being able to wait playing with their new kitty cat.
Apparently, however, the owner didn't share their joy. He reminded them to be quiet and to put back the toys. After a short time, he said,"the kids are getting on our nerves." He then had the nerve to have someone escort our children out of the store, complaining they were annoying and didn't stop playing with the noisy pet toys when they were told to. For God's sake, these are two little boys, 2 and 4 years old, enjoying the excitement of adopting a new cat, not hurting anybody or destroying things.

Long story short, the owner and his employee were extremely arrogant and further stated that they are not interested in our business and that our kids were annoying other customers and not welcome in the store. As far as I saw, the store was as empty as could be - not hard to imagine with their high prices and "friendliness." The owner might be good to animals, but certainly not to kids.

If I could give ZERO stars for this business, I would do so - but this system automatically gives one star. Wonder why!?
