unclean

Cons: unclean, old broken machines

.

this gym is rancid - i cant think of a positive. first - this gym smells bad and sometimes in the summer they just prop the door open with huge fans - no ac. barf. \n\nsecond - lack of weights. have the dumbbells are missing. no one re-racks. theres a shortage of weights as well. sometimes i walk around the whole free weight area and cant even locate a 10lb plate. \n\n3rd - cleanliness. i cant count the number of times there are no paper towels - not even in the restroom. one time i asked the front desk person for paper towels so i could wipe down the swampass stained benches with their spray. the guy went upstairs (took him forever) and came back saying ""we dont have any paper towels"". \n\nthe bathroom is gross. there are newspapers everywhere, toilet paper on the ground.\n\nequipment is also broken a lot. the mirrors get broken too. seriously .. ugh. \n\nalso no eye candy here either

Pros: CLOSE

Cons: EVERYTHING

Dirty, dirty, dirty, and dirty! Machines are ALWAYS broken, and it seems like they're never cleaned. Once I went in and they had no water. No A/C, musty and smelly. I lost motivation to work out. DO NOT get a membership at this gym!!! I have warned you.

Cons: dirty, stinky, hot

If the cleaning staff spent as much time cleaning the lockerrooms as they do polishing the mirrors on the workout floor, maybe I'd actually feel less need to keep my hands in my pockets so as not to touch anything here. The staff is rude -- I've stood at the front desk without anyone acknowleding me, only to shout at me if I start to enter the gym anyway. The equipment is in bad shape, or missing altogether. It seems like no one considers it necessary to rerack the weights, so it's generally impossible to find what you need for your workout. And of course, the showers are filthy, even for a 24 Hour Fitness -- and that's saying something.

Pros: Near where I work

Cons: Music, staff, dirty -- overall, seems like a good place to catch drug-resistant staph

What a nice gym, Layed out decently, Great service, Friendly atmosphere. However way too many people during peak hours

Pros: Location, Service, Staff

Cons: Parking situation, Peak hours, packed

Went with my friend to this 24 hour fitness, while it wasn't a total loss this wasn't the greatest I've seen. Changing rooms were a little dirty and machines were not all functioning. I wouldn't come back but location is convienent. There was a lot of parking and the staff was helpful but almost to the point of being annoying, they really want you to work with a personal trainer....I'd recommend it but only if you can go on a weekday afternoon or morning.

If Koreatown is convenient to you, this health club should work for you. It's nothing fancy, but has all your essentials. I like the lunchtime hatha yoga classes. It's a good break in your stressful day.

The area on Wilshire that this branch is located is very busy, always jammed with traffic. The parking garage does validate, but you need to park at the last level, no matter what day of the week you come here. Also when you leave you have to take the elevator to the ticket office and present your ticket before heading down to your car. This is a hassle and not worth the aggravation considering the small size of this club. The locker room is very small, although the equipment is spread out you will have to wait to use most.

PROS: parking is validated
CONS: too much work involved to get validated

The facilities are adequate at this 24 Hour Fitness. I've been to nicer locations, but if you live or work in Koreatown, it's acceptable. The girls locker room always seems run down and stinky. I'm not sure when they actually clean, because I've neve seen it completely clean. It's not disgusting, don't get me wrong. I've just seen better upkeep at other locations. As far as equipment, they have a decent amount of machines. I've never had to wait for a treadmill. I have occasionally had to wait for other machines, especially in the circuit area. I've not used the free weights section, but it takes up the entire first floor with a variety of stations.

PROS:
CONS: Some of the customers that go to this location are rude

I went into this 24 hour fitness to inquire regarding getting a membership. But all the membership plans were horrible. The cheapest plan is 97 bucks down and 20 bucks a month to use a gym in which you only get access to 4 days out of the week (every other day) The 2nd to lowest plan requires a 500 dollar down payment. After a tour of the facilities I had no care to even workout there even on a trial basis. They got alot of free weight machines downstairs but this place is just to small and compact to actually have a good workout. I could only picture how bad it would be during peak hours. They got cardio machines up on the 2nd floor. This gym just didn't feel cozy. I only recommend it to people that work in the wilshire area.

great space with plenty of machines, weights to use even when it gets crowded (lunchtime, after work). But this place gets really low marks for facilities - men's specifically. very cramped locker room, can't handle the volume at peak times. and the staff does little to keep it clean during the day. but if you want a cheap monthly rate and a easily accessible gym then this will fill the bill. just make sure you have flipflops for the men's locker room!

This a great place to work-out ...if you work near by. This place is great to work out before or after work or during your lunch...but be careful with the rush hour crowd. Try off peak hours. Other than that, it's not in the best neighborhood and parking is scarce ($$$).
