MILLER NISSAN. 5425 Van Nuys Blvd, CA 91401 - terrible service.
I do not recommend this service center.
I made the appointment on 1/19/2013 at 8:30. for 30,000 Mile Factory Minimum Requirement Service. My car - Nissan Versa cvt 2009.
I was at the service at 8:50. There were a lot of cars. Only at 9:00 adviser approached me. Adviser said the service will cost $ 419. Although online price for the same service is $ 319. Advisor (Christina Comingore) explained that the car is with cvt transmission and service of this car is more expensive. I was not satisfied with this explanation and I asked to call the manager. The manager came and explained that for nissan versa service costs $ 299 (30,000 Mile Factory Minimum Requirement Service), and the rest is extra options and they are not required.
At 9.30pm: - I agreed to the service for $ 299. Adviser said the car will be ready in 4 hours. (9.30am + 4:00 = 1.30pm).
At 2.30pm I went back to the service center to pick up the car. The car was not ready. Adviser said the car in the car wash and it will be ready in 45 minutes. (2.30pm + 45 min = 3.15pm).
At 3.50pm I went back again to pick up the car. The car was not ready. adviser said the car in the car wash, will be ready in 5-10 minutes. .... . . ...
The result: the car was returned to me only 4:20 pm.
And it was dirty! It was washed but washed very badly. I was so angry. I took the keys and left.On my way home I had to stop to wipe the glass windows, because i could hardly see the road.Before they washed it my car windows were much more cleaner.
I do not recommend this service center.
ps a couple of months before there was a different story with the same Miller Nissan Service Center. My wife came from the service after an oil change. I met her on the street. when she arrived, I noticed that the headlight didnt work. Miller Nissan Service Center was already closed.I had to replace the bulb myself.
I would not be surprised if something might happen after their service on the road.
I do not recommend this service center.

***PLEASE READ MY REVIEW....& SAVE YOURSELF THE NIGHTMARE!!!....I took my car here to Miller Nissan Van Nuys for a power window on the driver side that would not roll up or down correctly. I just wanted an estimate but the service "advisor" told me that they would have to tear the door apart first to see what was the real problem. I suspected a bad window motor so I let them do their business. He calls me an hour later telling me that they're gonna have to replace the window motor and regulator because they are shot....and I am already $$$ into it because of the labor done so far in removing the panels of the door. I reluctantly agreed for them to go ahead with the rest of the repair because the forecast called for heavy continuous rain for several days ahead. Hours later, advisor calls and tells me my car is ready and I go to pick it up. He had a weird "guilty" look on his face and told me that while they were fixing my window motor, they accidently put a scratch on my window tint!!!...I was NOT happy!! with what went down and he offered to have the tint re-done at their tint place down the street. I instead, took it my original tint place to have it re-done because I wasn't confident that they could match the original tint and i would have Miller Nissan flip for the bill. BUT BEFORE I could even do that, the next day, I noticed 3 DENTS on the lower part of my driver side door coming from the INSIDE!!!!.... meaning the metal was PUNCHED through the door from the inside of the door and the paint was completely chipped off on the outside..... not a scratch... DENTS!!!!... so whoever was the idiot "technician" that worked on my car, for some insane reason...decides to punch through the metal of the door with some sharp object!!!!....WHAT THE F*CK?????!!!!!.... the service director comes out and I raise hell... the kicker is...they WASHED my car and gave it back to me....without saying ONE word about the dents!!!!.... like nothing had happened and that I would not notice!!.... I told the service director that they are the most DISHONEST garage/dealership!!...washing my car, giving it back to me and not saying one goddamn word!!!. He says the the action of one tech guy should not reflect on the whole of Miller NIssan...really???... these are the people that you're hiring to fix people's cars???...thats YOUR team back there!!! .... so i came in with a perfectly good door, now there is a scratch in the tint and DENTS on the metal of the car!!!!....they offered to have it fixed but NEVER again will I come back to Miller Nissan for any kind of service because you'll be ripped off from high prices AND you will have UNQUALIFIED, SHADY "tech" and "advisors" totally WRECKING the condition of your car!!!!....these guys are the WORST.... I suspected a bad window motor so I let them do their business. He calls me an hour later telling me that they??re gonna have to replace the window motor and regulator because they are shot....and I am already $$$ into it because of the labor done so far in removing the panels of the door. I reluctantly agreed for them to go ahead with the rest of the repair because the forecast called for heavy continuous rain for several days ahead. Hours later, advisor calls and tells me my car is ready and I go to pick it up. He had a weird ??guilty? look on his face and told me that while they were fixing my window motor, they accidently put a scratch on my window tint!!!...I was NOT happy!! with what went down and he offered to have the tint re-done at their tint place down the street. I instead, took it my original tint place to have it re-done because I wasn??t confident that they could match the original tint and i would have Miller Nissan flip for the bill. BUT BEFORE I could even do that, the next day, I noticed 3 DENTS on the lower part of my driver side door coming from the INSIDE!!!!.... meaning the metal was PUNCHED through the door from the inside of the door and the paint was completely chipped off on the outside..... not a scratch... DENTS!!!!... so whoever was the idiot ??technician? that worked on my car, for some insane reason...decides to punch through the metal of the door with some sharp object!!!!....WHAT THE HELL?????!!!!!.... the service director comes out and I voicemy anger... the kicker is...they WASHED my car and gave it back to me....without saying ONE word about the dents!!!!.... like nothing had happened and that I would not notice!!.... I told the service director that they are the most DISHONEST garage/dealership!!...washing my car, giving it back to me and not saying one goddamn word!!!. He says the the action of one tech guy should not reflect on the whole of Miller NIssan...really???... these are the people that you??re hiring to fix people??s cars???...thats YOUR team back there!!! .... so i came in with a perfectly good door, now there is a scratch in the tint and DENTS on the metal of the car!!!!....they offered to have it fixed but NEVER again will I come back to Miller Nissan for any kind of service because you??ll be ripped off from high prices AND you will have UNQUALIFIED, SHADY ??tech? and ??advisors? totally WRECKING the condition of your car!!!!....these guys are the WORST.... STAY AWAY!!!!...if i can give NEGATIVE 5 stars, i would!!.... pardon my French but... F*CK MILLER NISSAN, VAN NUYS!!!!

I have purchased several Nissan's in the past and Miller Nissan has had the most professional sales and service dept. by far. Dave in the service dept. was very friendly, honest, and prompt when it came to calling me regarding my car. I would recommend them to anyone.

This place is a joke I will NEVER return. The consultant DAVID gave me a laundry list of problems with my vehicle.. I took it to another service facility and not even half of the "problems" existed. Including my 2 front tires needing to be replaced becuase they were both punctured. When taken to an alternate mechanic they told me there was a nail in 1 tire that could be repaired, NO NEW TIRES NEEDED. Also the technician lost the key lock for my tires and no one was able to help me retrieve it. When I called and spoke with David he stated that they didn't even do anything with my tires so why would they have used the wheel lock. REALLY, didn't do anything with my tires then why the hell did you call me up and say I needed to get 2 new front tries. I asked to speak with a manager, he was in a meeting. We'll see if I get a call back. I will never purchase another Nissan again. This has been the worst car I've ever driven and becuase of the added rude and untruthful service I will be taking my loyal business else ware.

I like Miller Nissan. They are very friendly and I think more honest than most car dealers. they have service my Altima for a few years now and I have no complaints. I use to go to another Nissan dealer in the SFvVand they were terrible. Miller Nissan is a step up.

They should be closed! They are by far the WORST PLACE to take your Nissan! They are dishonest, rude...I really can't go on enough. They lost my key to my car. They told me my car was going to ready in an hour....2 hrs went by (it was 1 hr beofre they closed) and I left the guy a message...30 mis goes by....HE TURNED OFF HIS PHONE! So I get a ride up there and he claims that he didn't know that my car had a frame that big and so it was taking longer and my car will not be ready until tomorrow... How do you work in Nissan service and you don't know what kind of frame the cars have???? And why don't you call the person to let them know if it will be the NEXT day?? OR at least RETURN calls! He then drove me in his personal car to the Burbank airport with a rental car "voucher" and leaves me at 9PM alone....I walk in...they do not take vouchers. I was sick and really pissed....I had to call him 3 times to tell him he needed to come pick my up from the airport again and take me home. Seriously... this place is a joke. Do not go here!

Good, honest service?!? Give me a break!?! Shame on us for not reading these reviews before making a decision to take our '05 Nissan to Miller Nissan's service department. We brought the vehicle in for an oil change. I asked to make sure they would change the copper, plug washer. The service representative had no idea what I was talking about.
In retrospect, we should have walked away right then and there. But one of the actual service technicians overheard my question and assured me that they did indeed replace the the plug washers with every oil change.
Shortly thereafter, the service representative, without even looking at the vehicle, pushed us to have more than the oil change performed. We explained to him, again, that we just wanted an oil change for now. He then ""reminded"" us that they would NOT check any of the other systems if we just simply wanted the oil changed. Fine with us. $38 = Oil Change. When asked how long it would take, his answer, ""a while"". What the ef' does that mean?
After two and a half hours of waiting around at the dealership we receive a telephone call from the service representative. He wanted to go over the ""report"" on our vehicle. WHAT?!??!?!?!? Report? How do these people sleep at night?
Regardless, the report revealed that they had indeed gone over every system in the vehicle. And, there was a loooong list of items that needed to be fixed right away. The brake pads seemed to be his biggest area of concern. I assured him that we would have these items addressed as soon as possible, just not by them.
That comment must have pushed him over the edge because he then proceeded to tell us that this vehicle was in the worst condition he has ever seen. And, he informed us that we were not properly caring for the vehicle. Forget the fact that we had previously relied on a Nissan Dealership in a another state to perform service on the vehicle and advise us in reference to the vehicles mechanical needs for the last five years. Regardless, they got our $38.00. But, we will never, ever take any of our business there again.

Employees will never reveal prices of work they ""suggest"" for your car and then charge you four times as much as what you would pay somewhere else. They will never check in with you and expect you to wait 5-6 hours for your car, for less than 30 minutes worth of work. And most will talk to you disrespectfully. Avoid.

I made an appointment to bring my Nissan Sentra 2006 to the service department for regular maintenance, nothing fancy, on Saturday, March 7 at 11:30 am. I arrived at the dealership at 11:30 am and dropped my car off. The service technician, Johnny, said the car would be ready at about 2 pm at the latest. I called the department at 3 pm and managed to get transferred to a live person about 15-20 minutes, at which point I was told that the car would need extra work and would not be ready until 6.

I was also told that the car was not even looked at or put into the computer system until 3 p.m. This after I dropped it off, after booking an appointment three days in advance, at 11:30 am.

AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP.

My husband and I went to Nissan Van Nuys the first week of January. We were trying out their 2009 Versa's. We were set on wanting this car, we test drove it first and then shopped around. After looking around we decided to get the Nissan. We went in on Jan 9th and told them specifically that we wanted the 0% financing, 3 year loan and x dollar amount per month. We were very specific since we are on a limited budget. We wasted 3 hours with them, after 2 hours they said that they didn't have the zero percent financing and they haven't had the deal since the 5th. We questioned them why they are just telling us now, they really didn't have an answer. They continued to try to get us to get a loan for 5 years and $50 over our budget per month. We had to keep bringing them down and then after 3 hours they came down in price but wouldn't go down completely to what we wanted. The manager got involved then the head manager got involved! He asked us why we were wasting our time and we informed him that his sales people wasted our time. We told him they either weren't trained right or they lied to us from the get go. How can you work for 4 days and not know you don't have the zero percent financing? That is riduculous. I would never go there again? we left and went to Kia Glendale and had the best sales people ever. They were great and were so helpful. They weren't sleezy, I would recommend Kia Glendale anyday..

Tony Betcheri will get you a good deal if you go through the Internet Sales Department; I did not buy a Nissan (having nothing to do with Tony or Miller Nissan), but I can say that Tony did an outstanding job of answering all of my questions and emails; he is seriously on top of it, and if you want to work with a salesman who works hard, and wants to earn your business, Tony is a good choice. When I buy my nest car, and want to look at the Nissans, he is a guy I will email.

I have a very long list of complaints about the Miller Nissan Service dept. The worst thing that they do is to recommend unnecessary repair work. They recommended to me a lot of repair work that I had just had done within the past year, and I knew it was unnecessary. On one repair job, I took my car in to repair a leaking radiator hose and by the time they finished, the bill was over $1400. They also charged me for work that they didn't even do. They charged me for installing a new water pump and when I went back to my previous mechanic, he told me the old water pump that he had installed was still installed. The worst thing that they did, was to replace a timing belt that was less than one year old (which obviously didn??t need replacing) and the mechanics did such a poor job installing the belt that it wrecked my engine. I had to spend over $5000 replacing the entire engine. Miller??s also have dishonest lawyers that know all of the tricks to avoid responsibility for any mistakes that their mechanics make. I would never again go to Millers for anything.

My wife is Russian, and a little naive in the ways of buying a car. Before we got met, she went to Miller Nissan and was totally taken advantage of. They signed her up with a five year lease (which I've never heard of) and jacked up the price of the car she got. It's worth about one-half of what she paid.
