Reviews for Barnes & Noble Booksellers

Ratings_icons Book Store or Smart Extortionists

Barnes and Noble has a very limited inventory. Every time I go to Barnes and Noble they never have the book I am looking for, including classics such as David Copperfield. They grossly overprice their books, although their books are often in better condition than other stores.

Ratings_icons Nice store bad prices

Barnes and Noble eats out the other small bookstores. It is a nice store that provides a warm quiet reading environment and a wide selection of books. However, their prices for books are often high and sometimes ridiculous. If you want to be seen as a pretend intellectual, you can always buy books and read them there.

Ratings_icons Great place!

This is a wonderful place to pick up some books or if you need a nice place to study or read. I often come to get a book for me and sometimes as gifts for a friend. They have a really nice store, very clean and roomy, and it compensates a terrific amount of people. Its really the Mercedes of book stores, Ive never been to one thats nicer, plus its open late.

Ratings_icons Go to Border's Instead

Matthew B. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 3,408

This particular Barnes & Noble location is very small, has zero atmosphere, and an unusually sparse inventiry. If you are a hardcore Barnes & Noble person, I'd recommend the Miramar location. Otherwise, opt for the Mission Valley Border's, which has plenty of atmosphere and tons of books, CDs, videos, etc.

Ratings_icons Good place to get some books...

Kimberly N. | insider Insider | Rank: 13,910

This place is a great place to get some good reading material. Books and magazines galore! I even found some pretty rare magazines here for sale. Sometimes they have sales (like last time I went) which are great, because they usually sell best sellers for low prices (i grabbed the Da Vinci Code). I wish more book stores had this type of enviroment, sometimes i want to just sit down and get into reading.
