Koi Sushi Boat

FOR ALL THOSE SUSHI LOVERS THIS IS THE SPOT.
There is always proper seating at most times with your option of a secluded box, open table or the bar. With the nicely designed menu with detailed pictures and the dishes briefly explained this makes ordering a snap. I personally begin with tempura the particular one with both prawns and vegetables. Then for the main course I continue with the friend california roll and green dragon roll. Both are very similar with avocado and minced imitation crab. The difference is that the green dragon is covered with slices of green avocado making it appear as a scaly green dragon. The other, fried california roll is obviously fried. At Koi there is a variety of sushi rolls. Included in their menu is an attachment of interesting rolls such as lion king roll, world war III roll and the humorous one the viagra roll. I love this place for its large slices of rolls that can fill one's hunger easily. This place is great to eat but the service is not too great. The minor complaints are that there is lack of attention to their guests when it comes to getting their dishes correct or their utensils on time. But despite all this, it is the food that keeps me coming back. The prices are also not pricey. A friend and I found ourselves getting stuffed for less than 25 dollars. Try this place out for yourself the sushi rolls are absolutely amazing!

I went there recently with family. I was not expecting too much since my cousin said "it was okay" when she went here before. When our order came out, I was impressed. I ordered a child's plate chicken teriyaki for my son and it was huge. It looked like it was for an adult. My cousin ordered chicken katsu for dinner and that had a good portions. The service was great and they were friendly. I would certainly go here again.

I just discovered this place a few weeks ago and now it's me and my best friend's favorite place! We've already been there 4 times in 2.5 weeks! The lunch special is the best, you get a bowl of edamame and then you can pick from your choice of really inexpensive and filling lunches. I've never finished a full meal and the food is absolutely delicious!

PROS: lots of food for not too much
CONS: if you do ask for something extra, they'll always charge you!
