I'm a big fan of Indian Food. I love the spices and the choices. The flavor of the food at the Village Tandoor is right on the mark. It's the kind of taste that you just can't get enough of. You want to eat until you can't move. Any time it's time to go out for dinner, I always want to go here. We sit, we're served immediately, we get our King Fisher and some Lamb Tikka and Naan and we're in heaven. It is my favorite Indian restaurant. I recommend it to everyone I know!

I love this place.... especially during the lunch buffet hours. I always come here during lunch and the buffet has everything I love! It's definatly worth it.... just under $10 for lunch gets you so much more than what you'd spend during dinner hours. The food is delicious, the fruit drinks are good, the service is great, very clean, and the athmosphere is nice. I would eat here everyday if I had the money! High recommend!

Pros: lunch buffet

Cons: prices may be a little high during dinner

We had two people at our table with somewhat special diets, me, being vegan, and another with allergies to some spices. they had many vegan items on the menu, which was nice.
For the person with allergies, they made her food to order. The atmosphere is nice.

This is our favorite Indian restaurant to go to in the Valley. The food is really good and the pricing is not bad. The service is excellent too! The place is never that crowded so it is easy to get seated right away.

We don't go out for Indian food that often, but we absolutely loved this restaurant. The staff was awesome, the restaurant looked new, and the food was excellent. A very nice local find.

Worst indian food! The management too harsh.
Not worth the money, would go elsewhere. Being an Indian I know how the dishes should taste. only good for those who do not know the real taste of indian food, they just fool everyone and provide bad tasteless food to customers.................

The food is amazing!. The chicken tikka masala is full of flavor. The service is great. It is a great to have birthday and anniversary parties because of its small and intimate setting.

Like it hot? Ask them to hurt you with the vindaloo! We ask for shrimp vindaloo very spicy. It'll creep up on you...so nicely too! Garlic nan is one of the best I've ever tried. YOU MUST ORDER THE VEGETABLE SAMOSAS! Their lunch buffet is a good value and there are many choices! Their onion bahji is the best! Mushroom bahji is super! Plus they constantly play very entertaining Indian music videos with lots of choreographed dancing. It's fun and silly at times. The waiters are friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place! Cool statues to the left as you enter. COmfy booths. Excellent food! We bring all our friends here and they love it!!

Pros: Excellent, spicy food. Good service. Entertaining videos.

Cons: Parking lot can get pretty full. Though it is kid friendly I guess, the videos can be quite racey...stereotypically sexist at times.

The food is prepared excellent. I have tried many indian restaurants in the Los Angeles area and I think this is one of the best Indian restaurants in the San Fernando Valley. Their dishes are prepared with just the right amount of spices and blends. The chef's definitely know what there doing here when they make this food. The prices are reasonable and the delicious weekend buffet is most certainly a good choice to keep you full. The service is great also. When you see other Indian countrymen eating at the restaurant, then you know it's gotta be good.

I have been going to the lunch buffet at Village Tandoor at least once a month for the past five years.

Initially I was welcomed by the wait staff who were from another favorite Indian restaurant of mine in Los Angeles, The Clay Pit. They have since been replaced.

The last change of management caught me off guard as I did not know what to expect of the food or service.

I was pleasantly surprised! The quality of the food and service had not suffered.

All of my favorites dishes were still there (Tikki Masala, Saag, Chicken Curry, Tandoori Chicken, Veg Pakora), but they were joined by new dishes.

It is one of the few buffets in which I can enjoy every item on the menu. I actually have the opportunity to be selective.

The wait staff is on point, meeting your every need. Glasses are filled without even having to ask.

I also love the fact that I am welcomed to the restaurant whether in a party of 6 or party of one. I am not pushed to a table when dining alone, but am allowed to relax in a booth.

Thank you for the great dining experience.
