My dad and I go here frequently for Sunday brunch and always have a great time. The food is AMAZING! We always leave satisfied and raving about our meals.
We usually pick up a few macaroons for later, too, and they are always so yummy and fresh and coconutty!

Where else can you get eggs & onions with a bagel? I really like the latkes.
Coffee is low-quality as you would expect in a padded-booth cafe/deli.
They have a lot of good take-out items as well. (You can get pudding by the pound!)

This place has comfy booths and great food. Prices are fair but not cheap. I like it because I'm vegetarian and there are lots of veggie options on the menu including excellent matzo brei. My husband prefers the pastrami, which is (apparently) top-notch. He also likes the matzo ball soup. The coffee and desserts are also great. We think that Saul's compares favorably with other more famous Jewish delis such as Canter's in LA and the Carnegie Deli in New York. The service is friendly and the decor is cool too!

OK, this place probably doesn't "deserve" four stars, but I'm attempting to express some Jewish solidarity. People tend to come down on the table service there, but I've never personally found it to be a problem. Saul's serves some traditional foods, and can be quite crowded during the holidays. Sandwiches are much like you'd find in a NY deli--piled high with prices to match.
