Experience Korean relaxation at an affordable price. $50.00 will get you and afternoon of hot and cold baths, a mugwort bath, and saunas, not to mention a full one hour massage. There are seperate facilities for both men and women. The facility also offers other services including acupressure, microdermabrasion treatments, waxing, and reflexology just to name a few.

Located in Koreatown, Century Spa is a one of a kind experience that many are not fortunate enough to experience. From the lovely food, to the unique rooms (gold room, ice room, salt room, etc.) Century Spa has it all. The staff is friendly, the crowd diverse, and the facilities clean. I would recommend Century Spa to any one who wishes to experience a true Korean spa atmosphere.

Century Sports Club is definitely the nicest of the Korean Spas I've been to in Los Angeles, and I've been to several. Years ago, it was mainly a Korean clientele, with a few gay men who'd discovered the joys of communing socially in a non-bathhouse social environment. Lately, it seems that there's a bit of gentrification, and (I assume) that many of the Korean clientele now go to another location, and more and more gay men come to this site. Since I quite enjoy the company of gay men and Korean men (and gay Korean men), this couldn't bother me any less.\n\nThe rumors of the cruisiness are to be taken with a grain of salt. I've definitely smiled at someone and had them commence flirting, and also I've definitely sat quietly with my eyes closed in a state of pure relaxation and have been very respectfully left alone. It's not the type of place where the men will be overly aggressive... so straight men... don't be scurred. It's really not about that. It's just a place to completely chill. You're more likely to have someone smile and ask your name than to have someone try to touch you inappropriately. There are places for that a few miles away, and they're not hard to find.\n\nThe main difference between this place and the other K-spas in the area is with the options. In the others, you generally have two pools and two rooms to choose from, and they're small. Here it's a much different story. There's a beautiful locker room with a large television... there's a wet area with steam, eucalyptus steam, dry sauna, cold sauna... and then three pools... hot, REALLY hot, and cold. There's an area for wet services (salt scrubs, skin treatments) that's curtained off and semi-communal (a few tables sharing a large room). \n\nDown the hallway there's a clay and a marble room, both with wooden blocks for resting. Up the stairs there's a small sleeping/napping area with three small 'beds' and an overhead view of the wet area below, which makes it seem very open and non-claustrophobic.\n\nI've had a few scrubs here, and they've always been very good. Add in free parking and a reasonable entry fee ($20) and you have a really nice way to relax for a few hours on a day when you really need it.\n\nWhen I want an upscale boutique spa experience, I head to the Gendarmerie in West Hollywood... but when I want to chill out and rotate between the different tubs, the different steamrooms, and maybe nap for an hour or two... this is the place I come.

From the reception desk to the stylists, everyone there is professional and friendly. You won't find anyone with attitude here, just great, smart people who know what they're doing.

I loved it. I thought that I'd feel uncomfortable being naked, but that feeling went away the moment I removed my robe. They really didn't care. They just gave me a great massage, I forgot about being naked. The place was very clean too, which is a requirement for me when it comes to spas. The service was awesome too, they were very accommodating. This is a new experience for me and I feel great. It was relaxing and refreshing.

The design is dreadful. You have to climb stairs to get to the jacuzzi. You have to pack a lunch to get to the small swimming pool where they will not let you swim without a bathin cap. Never mind if you are bald. Swimming caps cost $10 and of course they sell them. What a rip off! I wanted my money back! You can smell the scamming as soon as you enter the joint. The staff acts like a bunch of Korean gangsters.

I have been going here since the Summer. I know Spas put people in a good mood and they are relax but everyone is so nice here and the staff is so sweet. So many amenities; The Marble Sauna is to die for. Reasonable day rates but I went with the Annual Pass and it was worth it for sure. Oh and I should mention the Gym, if you hate dealing with the crowds at the gym the Spa is the best as its not crowded and has everything to complete my work out. The Best. I ended up canceling my gym membership and only work out at the Spa.

Of course a little more descretion would have been welcome, but that didn't stop most of us from having complete enjoyment. A great place to spend a day off. Clean, variety of saunas and lots to look at! A place to see and be seen. Outdoor patio is a great place for a little fresh air in between all of the heated activities.

Pros: best looking spa-goers

Cons: little privacy, but that's OK

My first experience at this great Spa was an amazing one! Not only were the staff and technicians wonderful, the environment and modern atmostphere was beautiful and right on point. I loved every minute of it and highly recommend to everyone!! \nsimply love this place! Especially everything that is connected with customer service\nhave visited this place for several times. If you ask why I do it again and again I would I am 100% satisfied with SPA here. In some other places SPA is great but personal does not understand your needs. Only here everything is really great. I advise everybody to visit this place

went by myself, on a whim, and was thoroughly pleased at the atmosphere...especially the ""No Talking"" whirlpool room - which, because most women travel in packs and like to talk, was completely empty and all mine for the 20 minutes I needed it. Water, fruit, fresh towels, bathroom amenities and a staff who keep the place looking immaculate,I mean super clean!!

When I first got there I was pretty disappointed. The place looks nothing like a Spa. It's beat up and dingy kinda like a Holiday Inn by the Airport. Also, you have to get fully naked. If are shy in the nude, don't go here. The actual ""spa"" ammenities were not that great. There is no soothing music, no cucumber water, and its not all airy and light. The scrub treatment I had was called Asian Secret. I must say that the scrub and oil massage was excellent. It literally buffs your skin smooth. I only wish that the place was cleaner and more relaxing. I may go back, but I definitely won't be a regular.

Be careful this can become addictive. It's like Disneyland for those of us who love the water. After a scrub & oil massage, you are ready to be tucked into bed or begin a magnificent day! You'll definitely leave cleaner than you've been since you were born and be reminded of those times when your mom had to scrub you down. \nPLEASE don't tell too many friends. No appointments are necessary and us regulars can not be kept away for more than 2 weeks...

Your skin hasn't felt this good since you were an infant. For $30, you get a full body scrub, mini facial and your hair washed and conditioned. From head to toe, your body is silky-soft. This isn't Ojai Valley--the facilities are very simple--hot baths, saunas and the scrub table section where women (almost as naked as you are) scrub you with such force, you'd swear they were bodybuilders and not petite Korean women. (I hear their massages leave bruises.) If you can forgo the water with orange and cucumber slices, plush robes and bright and airy lounge rooms, go to Century and leave with amazingly silky skin.
