I recently went to Spagos and was very impressed. We went on a week night and had great service and the food was excellent. I had sea bass that was outstanding along with a dinner salad and an excellent chocolate dessert.
They have a great wine list and bar. It is a bit on the expensive side, but worth it as a great place for a treat.

PROS: Service, quality of the food and wine
CONS: Expensive

I was looking forward to trying out Spago. We went there to celebrate a birthday. The service was slow and forgetful and it wasn't a busy evening. The food was tasty, but very expensive and not worth the price.

The Restaurant was at the top of Wolfgang's game while the internet bubble was forming. Five years after the bust, it has downscaled its menu, lost a good share of its customer base and the then-tasteful-and-creative interior design look definitely passe. Spago needs to rebuild a loyal customer base. After it decides what its audience should be, it should redo its interior accordingly, and produce a menu that goes well beyond wiernerschnitzels in order to attract the affluent customers that Evvia, Tamarine and the Woodside Pub now cater to.
