Best of the Best! The crown jewel of the ghetto-food court. For about $6 bucks you will get the best BBQ pork in the east bay piled high with kimchi and rice. Steve's doesn't pretend to be anything it's not. Its great Korean home style food at light speed made to order. Chicken, seafood, beef, pork or Veggies all are great with a variety of flavors for everyone. Ignore the decor your there for the food; and if you expect the staff to socialize you should have gone to a bar. These bad boys are too busy grilling up the best cheap eats in Berkeley.

Pros: Cheap, tasty and plentiful! Close to school.

Cons: Not a first date kind of place

If you're hungry and craving korean food then Steve's is the place to go. They offer huge portions. They sell korean BBQ as well as more traditional korean dishes like spicy tofu soup and bim bim bap (sorry probably totally butchering it). The service is fast but not very friendly. Food is prepared when you order it. The prices are good (around $6) for the amount of food that you get.

Steve's is a Korean BBQ restaurant that offers very generous portions of meat for price that won't leave your wallet empty. Addmittedly, it isn't the most authentic Korean BBQ you'll ever eat, but it's good for what it is. Mounds of BBQ chicken or beef or pork served with rice and a side of kimchee and pickled veggies. They also have some dishes suitable for vegetarians. If you stop by Steve's expect huge portions and fast service.

PROS: huge portions, fast service, not too pricey
CONS: not authentic
