Billed as "the oldest seafood restaurant in Long Beach," this restaurant serves up delicious seafood dishes.Conveniently located in the Los Altos Shopping Center, near the movie theater, you won't have to worry about parking. There is a champagne brunch Saturdays and Sundays which I love but it is a bit pricey.

Family owned and operated. Great fresh fish. Specials are a must. Pricey. So make sure it's a special occasion. Could have a long wait at peak hours since most of the locals go here. But it's well worth the wait.

The Oyster Bar is very good and everything is fresh.
Not inexpensive but worth it for the quality. Lot's of Beer's on Tap also.

The Fish Tale is the oldest seafood restaurant in LB, with a stop and start history. For years it took up the entire SE corner of the Los Altos shopping center, but closed when the rent became too high. It re-opened 18 months later, same spot but a much smaller space. The original restaurant was better (bigger kitchen maybe?), but the scaled down version is still pretty good. Stick with the Oyster Bar specialties, clam chowder and best bread in LB! Great happy hour prices at the bar. Not inexpensive, but one of the most convenient restaurants in East Long Beach/Los Altos area.
Pros: Good Bar, Great Bread, Consistant food
Cons: Small, A little expensive
