The quality of their service is superb. Waiting time is short and the foods are definitely authentic Japanese cuisines. I love them! You would too I'm sure.

I took a friend and sushi lover to this place once and was a bit disappointed. This place is way overpriced for the so-so food you get. There is also nothing special here with no special house chef's roll unique to the place. There are much better places to go to in West LA.

Pros: Diverse menu, quality sushi, good sake list, great ambiance

The reason to go to En Sushi is for the ambiance. It's a hip place to get drinks, enjoy a la carte items, or dine out with your hipster friends.

The decor is very akin to L.A. nightlife, complete with dim accent lighting and lots of post-modern touches here and there to the Japanese roots.

The food is good and reasonably priced, but nothing to write home about. This place definitely caters more towards the casual Japanese diner, rather than to the hardcore sushi aficionados--but that's not to say that a they wouldn't enjoy a meal here as well. They offer a very general Japanese menu - offering all the typical/popular Japanese items, with a few unique creations of their own.

If you're looking for a place to impress your guests, without the intimidating menu (either due to price or hard-core extremity), this is a good option.

Also, the parking situation is not bad at all--which, for L.A., is a godsend.

My boyfriend wanted to check this place out after he saw it on his favorite show, Curb Your Enthusiasm. The food was pretty good and the decor is modern yet earthy with water flowing down a sheet of black stone on the wall - quite zenline. The wooden arches on the ceiling made me feel as if I was inside an ark. The sushi was pretty good but the tempura ice cream was smaller than what I expected. The chefs are very friendly and the tables are lit by candlelight.
