To whom it may concern,

I am writing to tell you of the exceptional experience I had with one of your store managers. Stacy, manager at the Burlington Coat Factory in Vista (off of Sycamore Avenue) displayed outstanding customer service and kindness during a time when I could have lost my faith in your company; she is the reason that I will remain a life long customer.
Two weeks ago I stopped in to your Vista store when I saw the huge signs out front which boasted Save 40% off Already Discounted Clearance Items!!! I soon realized this did not include all clearance, but I was directed to the cluster of racks which each had the clearance sell signs on top of them and picked out two coats. When I went to purchase them (with a big line behind me) I was puzzled by my total, which did not take into account the 40% discount. The sales clerk told me (in a disgruntled manner) that I should have read the small print on the bottom of the signs which said (excludes season 4 clearance items). Confused, I asked how I was supposed to know which items were from which season; she showed me the size 3 font size wording on each tag I was supposed to check to make sure it was included in the sale. I expressed annoyance at feeling as though I had been misled by false advertising. However, the clerk showed little concern or care towards my feelings, so I slid my debit card and left, not wanting to hold up the line any longer.
However, upon returning home, my anger and discontent grew as I recounted the events I had just experienced. After deciding I would no longer be a customer of this store, I decided to inform the store manager of the situation. I phoned the store the same night of the purchase and asked to speak to the manager. I was passed through to Stacy. She was so pleasant, understanding, considerate, and genuinely made me feel like she, and your company appreciated, and wanted my business. She agreed that I should not have to search through dozens of clothes, reading their tiny labels to see if they qualified for the sale. She also agreed the clothes which were not included in the sale should have been put in another section. She asked me to please return at a time of my convenience with my receipt and items and she would credit me the difference. The way she handled my situation with class, smoothness, and a positive demeanor made all the difference in the world. She is the reason I will remain a loyal customer of Burlington Coat Factory.

this place has a great varity of items. many designer brand items for a low price compared to the department stores. whenever i go, i ususally find something that i end up buying on sale.

Shopping experience here becomes more and more good as we shop more. There are a wide variety of clothes, designer shirts, very reasonably priced shoes and I love their baby depot. Every time I shop, some new toy comes for my kid. Their online shopping is also very good and convinent.
