I've been going to Pomp now for a few years and it's the first furniture store I go to if I'm looking for anything. The owner Warren is always friendly and helpful whether I'm buying a $200 mirror or a $2000 bed. I love this store and have always been impressed by the quality of the merchandise and the professionalism of Warren and how he makes everyone feel just at home at Pomp home.

I have bought a bed, rug, sofa and various smaller items in this store in the last couple of years. They are all very sytlish and were so much cheaper than the equivalents on Beverly Blvd. - but with the same quality of product. What impressed me most though was the attention of the owner, Warren, to my needs. He took the time to work out what space I had, how my rooms looked and my budget. He then made various suggestions, always listening to my needs - so different from many other stores I have visited where they just want to close the sale. I went back several times to finalise measurements and looks - and felt that Warren not only was always charming, but was also a real expert on furniture. I was suprised to read the review below. My furniture has held up very well, and I know my sofa has a warranty!

As an interior designer I go back to this store constantly. They are always able to find me what I need and the prices don't have the sticker shock of stores with this high of quality. The Jesse sofa line is amazing quality and they have the best selection of modern beds in Los Angeles. Great find, tucked away in Culver City!

The furniture at Pomp Home looks great but we had a problem with the integral parts of our bed less than a year after we purchased it. We contacted Warren and he sated that there is no warranty with the store and they dont take returns but he did facilitate things with the manufacturer and it looks like in the end it will be repaired. It was tough going for a bit and we are still essentially sleeping on the floor but I think in the end we will have the bed we love and the platform will work!

I am deeply saddened that `dagifted' had such a terrible experience in our store. We try very hard to give helpful friendly service but I guess sometimes we can't please everyone. As far as ripping someone off though I take offence. Our prices for our quality level of furnishing are the best in the city. If I was ripping people off why do the same customers come back year after year and voting us in 2007 as the `best furniture store' in the city. We have also recently doubled the size of our store to nearly 5000 sq ft. We have a very extensive collection of unique, clean line modern furnishing that are extrremely fairly priced, even when cross comparing on the internet. We are the only distributor of custom made Italian closet systems on the West Coast from Jesse so I don't know how this customer would find it cheaper on the internet as these closets are made to order and as such don't exhist until the customer `designs' it to their specifications.

I was going to buy a wardrobe from these guys for $3300 and found it on the internet for $2100. Although their products look fashionable (I got my bed from them, which was also a rip off), I reeeally suggest you look around on the internet before buying at this place. You won't see much at their showroom either. It's like the size of a fast-food restaurant. Also, their service was like no other place I have been to... they just didn't seem to care. I couldn't get much information from these guys no matter how hard I tried. I've been there a few times so I wouldn't say "they probably were just having a bad day". Arrogant, and unfriendly at times, I will never go back to this place. The environment's nice though. There are a couple of nice coffee shops around. Good luck!
