Precision Flooring

If you use these guys, better hope you find the work satisfactory because if there's a problem the guy who is supposed to fix it (Don) is a major grouch. He has no gift for customer service. There are so many other companies that do this work...it's not necessary to pay a premium for rudeness.

In working with the gentleman at Precision Flooring I have been very impressed with their eagerness to help educate me in choosing a wood floor. I was very upfront that the floor I was choosing was for a house in Hawaii which means they would not be making any money from me at the moment. Regardless they still took the time to talk with me and help me make a good decision. That showed me their sincerity about really helping people and providing great customer service. They made me feel right at home and helped me tremendously. When I am ready to replace the flooring in my home in San Jose, they will definitely be my people.

World Class would be an understatement. Buying a new floor can be a nerve racking deal, but everyone at Precision Flooring made my experience a breeze. David greeted me as soon as I walked in and made me feel comfortable right away. He had obviously been trained well, because when Don came to measure my floor, they had gone over the exact same things... down to the smallest detail. This company knows their stuff and stand by their installers. Those guys were great and my floor looks AMAZING! Look forward to many referrals from me.

I've had plenty of experience hiring contractors over the years, but this has to have been the worst. They broke our sink during installation and then charged extra to fix the problem. The bill was much higher than the estimate, and the workers did not speak any English. The work performed was well below standard. The owner, Don Gupton was unresponsive and quite rude when asked to correct the problems he made.

Two floors, two different years, same awesome service. They expanded my existing tile flawlessly. They have a huge selection and are very helpful in suggesting what will look good in your home.
Great showroom, too.

Precision Flooring installed new subflooring, Hardwood & Carpet into my house. I think Precision Flooring did a tremendous job!! There workers were very professional and they did clean up all of there mess. Out of all of Precision Floorings customers one bad apple doesnt spoil them all. Hats off to Precision Flooring

i chose precision flooring based on their 20yrs+ experience. also i thought paying a premium would give me premium results - like buying a high end car; instead i feel like i paid for a Mercedes and got a Ford Focus. my experience after hiring them to lay laminate flooring was appalling. aside from a 3x delay in schedule, ordering the wrong material, and not being responsive in responding to a mess they left from the sawing, they charged me additionally for problems they caused during their work. this is a competitive market. shop elsewhere.
