I??ve never met or dealt with such a wonderful and more professional company. I??m so happy we decided to use Ritz for our wedding. We found them online like everyone else it seems and we called and talked to Jarrett and set up an appointment to meet and look at pricing and we also went in for a tasting of the Ritz Buffet. First off, the food was AMAZING at the tasting and especially at our wedding; our guests are still talking about it. Right before we decided to book them, we saw some of these reviews that made us nervous. I called their office and talked to Jarrett and explained my concerns and he was so nice and open about everything. It was calming to us that he still knew all of those people and the details of their weddings and why they left a not so nice review. He explained to us everything that had happened and that what was written in the reviews was not true. He even showed us some of the parts of those party orders that had nothing to do with what was said on those reviews.
We ended up booking with Ritz and it was the best choice we could have made for our wedding. The whole experience was great. Jarrett always was there to answer questions and always returned emails and calls. I must have met with them to look at linen colors and revise my contract 6 or 7 times and it was always so quick and easy. They were so friendly and professional and really took care of us. The tables and place settings were beautiful, the buffet was beautiful, and the food was SO GOOD! We also got our cake through them and it came out just as we wanted it and it was so good. We had our reception at the Diamond Bar Community Center and the only hiccup was with them. The center made a mistake on the time schedule and would not let Ritz get into the hall on time to do all the decorating and set up. They must have worked like crazy because all of it was taken care of and ready while our ceremony was going on. In short, I??m so happy we used them! I will refer them to EVERYONE I KNOW. The only advice I would give to anyone is to call and talk to them and don??t worry or listen to some of the bad things said.

when we first got engaged, was so eager to get married and find a caterer. I jumped on Google and found Ritz Catering on the first page and decided to give them a try. I chose Ritz because they were the only caterer that called me right back and scheduled a time for us to do a tasting, get an estimate and make the plans for my special day. I met Jarrett and he was very friendly and funny. It was easy and stress free- they just seemed to know everything and took care of everything. They did the catering, the set up, flowers, cake, and had all the referrals for the other vendors I needed.

On the day of the wedding, I was pleased to see that they were so professional and though this was my one and only wedding, They seemed like they had done thousands! Everything was so easy going and I didn't have to worry about anything. Surprisingly, one of my favorite things was that all the supervisors and even Jarrett himself spoke spanish and were able to help my family members that had come from out of the country and didn't speak english.
The food looked as good as it tasted and there was more than enough. needless to say, It was great and I would not use anyone else but RITZ. Thank you for an amazing wedding.

I just had my wedding done by Ritz Catering and it was just perfect!!! I first met with Jarrett and we went over all of the different options and menus that my fiance, now wife, could go with and then he let us just create what we wanted to see and have.

On the day of the reception, the decorations were just as we expected, the staff was delightful and friendly, and the food was amazing. We had the Ritz Buffet along with a Pasta Bar. What was most impressive, was when we had 25 extra people come, there was no problem. They quickly were able to prepare extra food and set tables and everything went off without a hitch. I would recommend RITZ CATERING to anyone and everyone! Thank you RITZ!!!

Ritz Catering seemed awesome, elegant, affordable & very appealing. Until we saw the negative reviews on the Yahoo website. We grew very concerned but like we always do we decided to give Ritz Catering the benefit of the doubt and decided to pick up the phone and set up a meeting to meet with them to see how their business ran. At the beginning with Ritz Catering everything was wonderful. We met with Jarrett about planning our wedding with them and we also expressed our concerns about the negative reviews that they had received. Jarrett assured and reassured us that Ritz Catering was great and that they live up to their word of what they offer. Well, we were so wrong. Our wedding was this past June 2009. We planned catering for 130 people with Ritz Catering. The day of our wedding we made it appoint to have a friend count how many guests we had at the reception. We had a total of 86 people in attendance at our wedding reception, including children. We will begin by stating of what went wrong the day of the wedding and what was not completed per our contract. The appetizers (this included meatballs, chips and salsa and fruit) that were supposed to be for 130 people had ran out. Waters were not being refilled and punch was not being refilled. We had a chocolate fountain and only 3 items out of the 6 items specified in our contract were offered. Wafers, Oreos and Rice Krispis treats were provided for the chocolate fountain but fruit, marshmallows and pretzels were missing. For the main food we decided to go with the ??Mexican Buffet?. Sour cream, salsa and guacamole were supposed to be provided per Jarrett but it was not the day of the wedding. Food quality was also below average. Food was not like it was described to us. Not fresh at all. The green salad provided had many brown parts in it. Jarrett assured me that the buffet tables would be decorated like how it is shown on their website and it was not. There were no decorations on the buffet tables?? only linens, very plain and disappointing. Also candle votives were not provided on our sweetheart table and guest tables like specified on our contract. When we were ready for the toast, the champagne and cider bottles were only placed on the tables; the servers did not even pour the champagne or cider into the glasses of our guests. The cake was not like what we had asked for. We met with Jarrett and made sure that our cake would look like the one we emailed him, which was a 4 layer cake with white frosting and pink flowers. We made it appoint to email Jarrett the cake way in advance and he assured us that it was no problem with the way we wanted our cake. The cake provided by Ritz was 3 layers and was not decorated like the way we had requested it to be. Our cake was supposed to be served on china and it was not, it was served on small paper plates. We had personalized napkins made with Ritz and we ended up taking them home because they were not provided or placed on the tables. The worst part of our day was when my father went to ask one of the catering staff, Rick, if it was possible to refill water pitchers and the punch (that ran out) and my father was rudely told, ??Why don??t you turn around, go back where you came from and go sit down?. When my father told me what had happened in front of two witnesses I was totally embarrassed and appalled.
I would never recommend Ritz Catering to anyone. A beautiful day that was supposed to be smooth and unforgettable was not. This business does not live up to their word or standards. Please don??t give into the ??their word? about their business being wonderful. It is all a lie and we trusted the wrong business. We learned our lesson and should have taken into consideration the poor reviews of what others had posted. Though we have our church ceremony to remember our special day by it is sad to say that the reception with Ritz Catering was a total and truly disappointment.

The first time meeting with Ethan @ Ritz Catering I thought he was awesome. He was so helpful and had a great personality, he even recommended his brother in law for a DJ, so I was very comfortable selecting them to cater our Wedding Day. When the Wedding was getting close we made arrangements to meet at the reception location, Ethan was over a half hour late, not that big of a deal but it made me nervous. The meeting went fine, we finalized the details of the reception and I was on my way.
The Wedding day, Ethan and I arranged to meet at the reception location at 10am, 10:15 comes and I'm very upset. A Bride has so many other things to worry about, this was very frustrating. I call Ethan and he tells me to go around to the back that someone is there, I feel he was very rude to me.He acted like a total jerk on the phone. So I meet the guy in the back and give him a bag with all the important things, Our cake topper (that took me months to decide on) The cake cutter and server (my grandma gave me and had nicely engraved) and our toasting glasses. I leave there feeling pissed off and concerned.
My Mother in law goes to the reception location later in the day to drop something off and they are taking flowers from our centerpieces to put on our Wedding Cake, I paid Ethan to make the cake and decorate it and he took flowers from our centerpieces. I could not believe that.
So we get married and we walk in to the reception and it looks nice. We sit down and i notice our glasses are not there, a little time goes by and I notice my cake topper is not on the cake and neither are our serving stuff. I find Ethan and he says the guy that he had meet me there did not tell anyone about all of my stuff in the bag. So now all of my Wedding pictures of the cake do not have our cake topper on them. The worst thing was Ethan was not even nice about it, he really did not even seem to care.
I also paid for meatballs and they were never even served. I really feel that Ritz Catering is a bad organization to select on such an important day. You pay them to do things correctly so you don't have to worry about it. Ethan was so careless I would never ever recommend then to anyone, that is why I want to tell my story to whoever will listen. If you do decide to go with Ritz Catering do yourself a favor and DO NOT i mean DO NOT choose his Brother in Law to be your DJ, what a absolute nightmare. I made a list of the kind of music we wanted and he must of blew his nose with it because he was completely horrible. To top it off I wanted Marvin Gaye "lets get it on" as the last dance and he played "Sexual healing."
I can't say enough how much these guys let me down, please spend your money elsewhere. The food was not even worth mentioning. I got the chicken. I hope you will have better luck than i did and choose a good caterer.
