The Oasis Laundry & Dry Cleaning

Oasis laundry is one of the best, especially for washing and drying large(king size) winter comforters. I visited yesterday and a young lady named Anna worked me through the whole system from getting change to working the machines. She could not have been more helpful and cheerful and I will return with confidence knowing that they have big machines for large washable articles and packets of soap for sale. $5.00 is very reasonable for a comforter at a "do it yourself " laundry. they will do it for you for considerably more. I would recommend them for 'do it yourself' as have no other experience with them. Grandma from LA

I have been going to Oasis Laundry in Mountain View for dry cleaning/laundry since 1983 and have in the past have been pleased with their services and prices. However, just last week I took an item in for dry cleaning and the attendant, in unintelligible English, charged me double the price for dry cleaning my blazer. When I explained that I have never paid that much she said it "was too long" so I had to pay more. I am almost 6 feet tall but I have never been charged more because of it. The attendant was rude and did not speak English well at all. When I said I would not be coming back, she said "OK". Needless to say, I will no longer be a customer of this business.

Extremely disappointed with this place:
1. ruined a new dress of mine and refused to do anything, plus they blamed it back on me and asked for the evidence (as if I would have video-taped them while they washed my dress?)
2. receptionist staff do not speak English AT ALL and do not know their job. Cannot even communicate about wash vs. dry clean
3. worst thing is the manager/owner is not responsible and not responsive. He kept promising to investigate and to call back but that never happened. Finally I got him on the phone and he refused responsibility
4. the place is dirty and low-class. It advertises low prices but have the minimum charge or charge different prices from the signs. One attendant tried to charge us $75 to clean a $50 jacket. They don't advertise the minimum of $10 on washing services.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. YOU WON'T MISS ANYTHING EXCEPT FOR BEING SO MAD

I go to this place once a week. What can I say. They do the job. What do you expect from the staff, a relationship? I take my 20 pounds of laundry, they wash it, they put it on hangers, no complication ever. It's been 2 1/2 years. No problems

Oasis Laundry has been a very good place to use coin-operated laundry machines. Very clean environment. Also, I've used their laundry service for comforters and was happy with the results. Prices were very good, too.
