This is a wonderful restaurant. Attention students: definitely come here on a first date. I came here on a first date several years ago and will always remember it. I've come back several times since. Whenever the wait is long, they will pour you a glass of wine to enjoy while you wait. Definitely take note that this place is cash only or you and your cute date will be washing dishes!

Great authentic Italian food. I went here with only one other person but I hear they can accommodate larger groups and serve 'family style.' The food was all very flavorful and portions were fair. The desserts are also very good. The atmosphere is very 'cute' but small and there is limited seating compared to the number of people who try to eat here and instead end up waiting outside on college, standing around this small restaurant. Two major downsides for Trattoria la Sicilliana- they don't have reservations which is unfortunate because they get very busy and they are cash only, which I couldn't believe because for a restaurant that is over $20/person, they should take credit!

Try this: spaghetti with black ink sauce. Out of this world!
Other than that, the serice is OK, and it used to be better under the previous management.

As soon as you walk through the door, the warm smells of spices envelope you and draw you in like the hug of a sweet Italian grandma who knows her kitchen.
Ask for the veal meatball house specialty. I don't know the word in Sicilian, but this mouthwateringly divine combination of savory meat, spices, onion, and love will make your taste buds faint with orgasmic satisfaction.
The staff is incredibly friendly and charming-- like one big family. In fact, they may be family. You will be welcomed with a smile and served in style.
Divine! Go! Eat!
