Draeger's is a foodie's dream. It has a great selection of gourmet foods, even prepared foods. However, it's not at Costco prices.

The cooking school is a lot of fun. They bring in top chefs for cooking demonstrations. The best part is that you actually get to try the food!

Draegers started in Menlo Park. They were always upscale but focused on service and premium products. They expanded to Los Altos and then redid the Menlo Park store. WHile I wouldnot buy my paper products and canned goods here, I would defiinitley buy produce and bakery and speciality items.

This is one of the three Draeger's Markets in the area. This one has an outstanding selection of food, product and wine but also has a second floor housing gift items, kitchenware, a small restaurant and a cooking school. Their cooking classes are a blast and priced competitively with other offerings in the valley.

Draegers has higher prices than other nearby grocery stores, but you get what you pay for. Food is high quality and the liquor section has an impressive selection. Housewares and other sundries are available on the second floor, and prepared food from the stalls in the front of the store is quite good.

Even though I used to live a block away from Draegers I never really went there. This store is super nice, but the prices are just too big for me, I prefer to pay less and shop at Safeway. Draegers is a magnificent store though. When I did go there i was alwasy wowed. The supermarket has absolutley everything you need and there is special brands. Organic foods for those who like to live healthy. I always enjoyed going to the second floor. When you do that you look out through that really cool glass window down into the street, really pretty even though its just an ordinary neighborhood street. The fact that it is very clean and very organized is really applealing. They have their own parking lot and just recently they got those orange flags that you can pick up so cars see you when you cross the street (because the parking lot is across the street and this is a pretty busy corner.)

Definitley World class, you don't see grocery stores like this often. This place is so classy, and its just a grocery store! Part of the reason for this is because it is in a really rich neighborhood and its located in DOWNTOWN Menlo Park. Groceries here are more expensive than other place, Safeway ALbertsons they are all cheaper than this place. So I dont really go here often, just in emergencies really when I dont have time to go somewhere else. Can you believe it, they even offer a cooking class! YES! a Professonal chef will show you how to make a masterpiece. Pretty cool huh? O yeah, the store has its own separate parking.

Yes, Draegers is expensive, but when I started comparing actual prices, Safeway was the same price on most items at a far lower quality. Draeger's quality and selection is second to none. Meat is superb.
