5 Stars: Kids Klub Pasadena is FANTASTIC!! (by Betty S.)

Our family loves Kids Klub. Our son is very happy and well cared for. We started out with the evening care/weekend care and later enrolled him in the 3 year olds. He is now 4 and loves the preschool class. He is more than prepared for Kindergarten. The teachers are loving and teach the kids about respect for each other and for themselves. My husband and I can't say enough good things about Kids Klub. It's the best! I am baffled by any negative reviews. The owner and his staff run Kids Klub with integrity and honesty. It's a fun environment, but real learning takes place every day.

3 Stars: Watch out for late fees! (by Barbara A.)

I felt the center was clean and there were lots of interesting activities there for kids. I have a problem, however, with their inflexibility regarding late fees. They charged me $25 for paying the invoice five days late while my house was under construction.

5 Stars: Kids Klub Pasadena is AMAZING!! (by Brady K.)

Amazing that is all I can say about Kids Klub! My child has been attending Kids Klub for the past 4 years and I have never been more happy. I feel so safe sending my child there. She started when she was 3 years old and loved it from the minute she started. Not only did she develop socially but she got into several private schools throughout the San Gabriel Valley. I still send my child there in the summers for summer camp. She comes home exhausted everyday with a smile on her face. She talks about the counselors and their funny nicknames, she sings a different song everyday, brings home a craft or a cooking project, and just loves the fieldtrips. The school came highly recommended to me from a close family friend and I can't thank her enough!!! I would recommend this school to any family with children of all ages!

1 Stars: Kids Factory! (by Jill A.)

We are not happy with that school. It`s so noisy, huge and complicated place that my kid didn't feel himself safe and comfortable. Teachers and staff don`t work with full of love, they look unhappy as well. They don`t care what your kid needs, they just follow the routine. My kid said that he felt down from stairs but nobody reported his accident to us. Unfortunately, i would not recommend this factory:(

5 Stars: A great place for kids (and parents too)! (by MM M.)

I have two children (4 and 2) and we couldn't be happier with our decision to place our children at Kids Klub. Mom and I are very protective off our kids and before enrolling at KK we sought out and visited all local childcare centers, and in fact, had our eldest in a nearby Montessori school before Kids Klub. When an opening occurred at KK we reluctantly moved our child to KK and in less than a week our child was totally transitioned. When our son was ready to leave the care of Grandma we happily placed him at KK. Now both children are thriving both socially and academically. In fact, when we pick up our kids it takes them at least a half-hour just to get them out of the place. No exaggeration!

The teachers and staff are great, the facility has a warm, happy and friendly atmosphere to it, and yes it can be loud but if you enjoy the shrieks of kids having fun, it is a pleasant loudness. Our oldest will soon be moving on to Kindergarten and thanks to the preparation at KK we are considering all of the best private schools in the area. I would highly recommend KK to any parent, it has been the greatest place for our children, and us parents too!!

5 Stars: Kids Klub is the best!!! (by Kay D.)

This place is the absolute best! I have two children and both have been at Kids Klub since they were infants. They started out in the infant and toddler program and they continued through the Preschool and Pre-K programs. My children now attend two of the finest private schools around and are excelling thanks to the academic foundation that Kids Klub laid for them.
Both my children come back several times a year to attend Winter, Spring and Summer Camp at Kids Klub. We all love the staff there--they are amazing--like family! The facility is a treasure to the eyes with giant fish tanks, and brilliantly decorated rooms.

5 Stars: Kids Klub is the Best!! (by Dave C.)

My wife and I enrolled our 2 boys 7 years ago and we feel blessed to have found the finest Child Development Center in the San Gabriel Valley! Our youngest was an infant when we started him and we were wracked with guilt upon leaving him. As we watched him thrive under the care of some seriously world class teachers we changed our tune!! We watched both boys soar socially and academically through the preschool years. The curriculum was a perfect balance of learning through hands on experiences, teacher led circle times and activities, art, music, science and playing. I attribute their Elementary School Success on the foundation of love and security they received from all their outstanding teachers. We are now in the School Age program at Kids Klub and involved in the Summer Camp and feel the same way we always have...fortunate to have found Kids Klub!! The afterschool program gives them a safe and fun place to spend their days after school...they are able to get their homework done, get involved in hobby hour, play outside with friends. Camp Kids Klub their summer camp is absolutely top notch!!! My children literally go "from the mountains to the sea and everything in between"!!! The counselors are mature, professional and "cool"!! What more could a kid (and parent) want? Some people think Kids Klub is too big...but really, I find it to be a small community of people who have a deep love for children of all ages. I thank God for the day we found Kids Klub...it's heaven on earth for kids.

1 Stars: Would NOT recommend it!! (by Meg C.)

They have great marketing and lots of "flash" as you tour the facility however my son attended from the time he was 14 months till he was 26 months and the final straw was when he was having difficulty with transitioning from the Infant/Toddler group to the 2 year old group and I was there daily asking for help/suggestions/feedback I was told given NONE and told I needed to hire a "Shadow" (read: babysitter to attend school with him to monitor his behavior if he was to be able to stay) That would be an additional $675. per week on top of the $1200 I was already paying them as a single parent to help my child with growth and child development!!!??? The final straw was when I picked him up one afternoon and he was clearly in PAIN but no one noticed or reported anything. After a trip to the pediatrician I discovered his elbow had been dislocated at daycare. When I reported it back to the teachers and asked about the previous day, etc. I was told nothing had happened, he was fine. (Clearly not the case) When I then asked to see the video survelliance tapes that run 24 hours a day there so I could see for myself, I was given the run around for three weeks. When I finally had my meeting with the owner and director the specific tape for the specific day had been "mysteriously" erased.
Originally I had LOVED this place when my son was first there...he had wonderful teachers in the Infant/Toddler area but then the teachers started to complain about not getting paid enough, benefits, etc. and the kids got the brunt of it. The arrogance of Kids Klub is they have a 1 year waiting list of people trying to get in. The good news is, there are wonderful alternatives at a fraction of the price in Pasadena and the surrounding area that really care about the kids and help them blossom.

4 Stars: my son loves this place (by Cindy W.)

We placed our son in this daycare at 4 months old because it was the cleanest one that we could find that would take in a 4-month old. Their infant facility is in a separate room from all the other classrooms which made me feel safer leaving him there. The main caretaker, Mrs. Martha was great with him. She would sing to him and talk to him. I liked that all the caretakers would talk to the babies, instead of just changing their diapers, feeding them, etc. Our son is now over 2 and he's in the preschool class. Once he started the preschool class, we noticed a HUGE difference in his vocabulary, his understanding and overall growth. He recognizes over half of the alphabets, knows how to count 1 - 10 and identifies most numbers too. And we love his teachers and the curriculum. Best of all, our son loves it there too. He has always attended only 3 days a week and on the days when he's not there, he's always talking about his teachers and classmates. We love it here. It's probably the most pricey of all daycares in the area but well worth it. And yes, it's a large facility but each classroom is small enough that it doesn't feel like a "factory".

PROS: clean, organized, and well-run
CONS: parking, more expensive than most daycares

2 Stars: No Place for a small child (by B.J. E.)

This is a huge place - all cement and gravel. The hired help are friendly and seem nice but the whole place feels institutional. It's also very noisy - especially when the have those huge bouncy things go up. I wouldn't leave a child here any longer than I had to and only when they are old enough to fend for themselves.

PROS: Late hours -okay in an emergency
CONS: Too big and Loud

5 Stars: (by Karla N.)

Our son is in the evening & weekend care program at Kids Klub. It's been a great babysitting alternative - inexpensive and he has a great time there. The facility is clean and they always have fun, structured play for the kids even on the weekends. Sometimes they bring out these giant bouncy houses for the kids and my husband & I want to stay and play too! They recently added a huge aquarium with gigantic fish and a platform for the kids to stand on and look at them. They have an outdoor play area anda theatre where the kids can dress up. There is a chef on site who cooks breakfast, lunch & dinner for an extra charge. They are open until 10 Sun through Thursday & 12 Midnight on Friday & Saturdays. Kids Klub is kool!!!

3 Stars: (by Mark G.)

Childcare factory for Pasadena. Very large but very flexible hours, up until midnight most days. More of a business than a family oriented environment.
