Berolina Bakery & Pastry Shop

There was about 10 of us and 1/2 wanted to eat next door at the deli and the rest of us wanted to eat here. So when we sat outside the owner came rushing out and told us that we couldn't use their outdoor furniture if we were not ALL going to eat at Berolina's. The sad part is that we have been customers since I can remember over 32 yrs. and we were actually going to get desert's to go like we always do on top of the lunch and coffee drinks that some of us were going to have.But she made it very clear that she didn't either need or want our business. Needless to say we will NEVER return to the bakery of my childhood!!! :(

I stopped by this bakery out of curiosity, because it is on my way to work. Boy am I glad that I did. Now whenever I am in need of pastries at work or home, I stop here. Fresh baked breads and cookies and unbelievable pastries. Really great for special events. They also have a cafe if you want to eat there and have a coffee. You will NOT be sorry you gave these guys a chance.

PROS: Never disappointed!
CONS: Be prepared to wait in line.
