They have one of the best traditional pizza. My wife'sfavorit is The God Father. Relaxing college towne atmosphere. I recommend it.
5Best Pizza in CDM but not best in OC. Thin crust is good and they are always friendly and helpful. Had delivery which was prompt but the pizza was oversauced and a bit sloppy. Salads and apps are pretty good as well.

I like this place a lot. Since I live near here, they deliver their great pizza's, so it's very convenient. It tastes really great. Even though it's a bit pricey it's definitely worth it.
4I ordered twice from this location of Gina's pizza and was so very disappointed.
The first time, they burned the bottom of my pizza. I ordered a medium house special.
On both occasions, they used a different version of sausage than is used by other Gina's locations (e.g. Corona Del Mar).
I also have to add that Gina's should really add some oregano and other spices to their sweet tomato sauce used on all their pizzas. It's too sweet and does not belong on pizza.
The good: their crust is one of the best around and their toppings taste fresh. Definitely better than the shmoes at Domino's.

I, unlike others, am not a big fan of the pizza. However, I do love their pasta, and would buy it more often than my wallet allowed. As a former student in the Irvine area, I must say that Gina's provided a nice college atmosphere (to say that Irvine lacked this is the understatement of the century). They also had college nights, and the fraternities and sororities would go there to have fun and get generally drunk.
They would also host parties for different groups, another reason to love the place. Also they'd allow different organizations to hold fund raisers, basically giving the group a 15% cut of the profit. I do also want to say that that the staff was generally friendly.
Bottom line: as a student, go here.

I've eaten at Gina's a few times back in the day when I was a UCI undergrad. It is very good. It tastes better than Ray's Pizza (at the Market Place) but it is more expensive as well.
But for a person who's craving superb pizza and is willing to dish out a few extra dollars, this is the place to go in Irvine, hands down.

Pros: Pizza; Ambience
Cons: Can Get Crowded at Night
Gina's has really really good pizza, but prices are definitely wayyy high. you can pick a pizza from their menu or create your own with a multitude of toppings. also has a bar so it gets crowded. very much a college scene hangout place.
4This is one of the few places that can create an authentic taste. I have no problem paying the high prices on their menus considering that they have excellent sandwiches/pizzas and a BAR!!!
And oh yes, great plasma TV for one of those rowdy sportsnights. A very friendly place too. They also do bulk orders for parties.

I frequnt this place often. i suggest you go dine in rather than delivery, because of the very nice homey atmosphere. the food is great. try the lasgna, my favorite there. comes with salad and garlic bread. prices are kind of steep for pasta and pizza, but worth it. best italian place in irvine,ca.
PROS: good food
CONS: price

The best pizza I've tasted. Their pastas are very good, especially the meat lasagne. Very affordable prices. You would pay twice the price for this food. Friendly staff. They get very busy, so it can get a little loud. However the heated patio is a lot quieter.

Friendly with fantastic service. Owner, Steve Speer, is a gracious and inviting host. Cheers couldn't be more welcoming!
