4 Stars: good book shop (by Shawn N.)

This place is about 10000x better than the crappy UCR bookstore. Their books are about 10%-20% off usually so check this place out. The only problem with this shop is that they don't seem to have regular hours, they are open whenever they feel like it. So don't go here expecting them to be open, you might have to try a few times. All the cool kids call this place "UBE".

PROS: cheaper books
CONS: irregular hours

4 Stars: Cheap (by Nancy D.)

The book here are great. They are usually like 10-20 dollars cheaper than the university book store. The only down side is that there is usually a long line becasue so many people go there to get book when the quater starts.

4 Stars: Good Prices (by Justin O.)

More often have I found the University Book Exchange to carry the college text books I needed at a lower cost than buying from other conventional methods. I also enjoy their buy back selling service. They will buy your textbooks from you for more money than other competitors, such as the university. The store itself isn't too appealing in terms of looks, but the content of the books is good. Sometimes it is hard to find books in stock however, especially for the classes that are in such high demand.

3 Stars: Good place (by David L.)

to find books at less than the price of brand new textbooks. I go in just to browse and see what's new in the field. The prices aren't as low as eBay, but more convenient.
