It's not located on the main street of Old Town Pasadena but it is a must if you are looking for a nice Mexican fast food. The servings are not that big compared to other Mexican restaurants but the quality makes up for it. I love their recipe and it's cheaper than most of the restaurants in the area.

Coming from Texas, I like Mexican food, but find that it's different in California vs Texas. Regardless, I very much enjoy King Taco. If you go, be sure to try the Combination Burito with Carne Asada (beef). It's very good, but be careful of the salsa. The mild (green) is fairly hot. That said, I love it.

The burritos taste great here but I always feel like there is a garbage can nearby when I go there. Good for cheap eats.

Dirt cheap, savory, and authentic Mexican that probably causes several heart attacks a month.

Stay the heck away from their veggie burrito. The veggies are always frozen. Plus, the restaurant always smells a bit like glue.

King Taco is the most authentic mexican food I can find in the Pasadena area! The food is cheap- the tortillas are soft and the carnitas are to die for. This is a great spot but be ready for a nap afterwards, because it is heavy food that tastes soooogood!
