Frenchy's Beauty Parlor was established in December of 2002, and has been bringing beauty to the masses ever since. We are a 5-Chair salon serving Burbank and its surrounds. Our decor is definately Retro (think 50's- pink and black, chrome and kustom pinstriping), however we cover the gamut when it comes to style. We specialize in everything from vintage styles (pompadours, fades, vintage up-do's) to more edgy, rocker/punk do's, to very natural gorgeous hi-lites and color. We offer a full line of services for any and all of your needs (haircuts, color, thermal straightening, great lengths extensions, full service waxing, make-up and AVEDA facials. We have clients from 2 to 82, and our goal is to make everyone who walks in the door feel welcome and leave feeling pampered.

There's this wonderful lady in there who does the most perfect french braids! I decided to go in there to do my hair for a party. Well I decided to do the French braid and boy was it awesome! I felt like a complete princess! Even my boyfriend kept complimenting me the whole night! The french braid was expensive but I was willing to pay for it! This place is not only extremely retro (full of pink and black decor) but adorable as well. It's also full of great people. I was a little nervous about going to this salon, but the minute I walked in, I felt welcomed. Everyone there was friendly I felt as if I was hanging out with old friends of mine. Suzanne was my stylist and she's adorable she's funny, sweet, and very talented. I have curly hair which I would always put up as seeing how it would get extremely puffy, I honestly thought there was no hope for me ever leaving my hair down. I'm soo glad to say that I was wrong, Suzanne did a fabulous job, I now wear my hair down and love it. PROS: decor, service, staff. By Katie D. \| Insider Expert Frenchy's was recommended to me by a friend. First of all, the name is of course from the movie, GREASE and the facility is decorated accordingly. When I went, it was around Christmastime.They had a silver tree with pink balls and the rest of the place was covered in fifties style pink and black decor. All the girls working there have a funky style of punk and rockabilly. I got a cut and a color and was very happy with the results. Though, i can't remember the exact price, I remeber it being pretty reasonable. I highly reccomend this place, especially for color. First Review! They have a great retro vibe in the pink and black decor which is unique and comfortable. Guys and girls can enjoy a delicious scalp massage before one of their pro hair stylists works their magic. Right so, everyone knows finding a new hair dresser is the WORST. I read on this site and some others that lacey is the gal to see (you would not believe how many sites and people rant and rave about her.) I was pretty sure I would not get in with her, because of all the great things said... but the lady on the phone was so great, and she squeezed me in. I have never spoken to someone that was so accommodating. I came in scared, because I have had my hair ruined in the past. Lacey sat me in her chair, and could sense my apprehension. We TALKED throughly about what I wanted.... which is a first.... she actually listened. I got an amazing scalp massage. She started to cut my hair, and after about 30 seconds I was at complete ease. She explained EVERYTHING she was doing to me... which made me feel so much better... (you tell them an inch and they take three.... she did JUST what I asked.) Soon I was laughing. Lacey has a way with people... I was laughing so hard from the things she was saying. I actually ended up having a FUN time. When she was done... it was JUST what I wanted. I was so shocked. I called my friend as soon as I left, and ten minutes later... she had an appointment with lacey, and the next week told me how amazed she was too. I can not tell you enough how great my experience was. I have never written a review.... but this was such a find... I had to share it with the world. Seriously, Go see Lacey. None of them where as skillful and awesome as Juliana at Frenchys. She was personable and attentive. She even through in a free scalp message. Nobody has been able to really understand what I like and need until I started going to her (i'm a really basic hair style type, no fuss), and she has always given me a cut that it super low maintenance but also HOT and HIP and grows out beautifully! I've wanted bangs for years and it always ended in disaster until Juliana cut them, now I love them! She's the sweetest stylist you'll find, and this girl knows what she's doing! The shop has a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. I particularly enjoyed the scalp massage. The rose scent massage oil was nice. This is a true hollywood style salon...very hip. When I went to book an appointment, they told me that she left and I went in to see someone else. The energy there was not the same and I didn't have the greatest experience. I later found out that Connie moved to Krimson Hair Studio in Burbank. I'm so glad I found her and it's a great atmosphere.
