Beever Susan Dvm - Bellflower Veterinary Hospital is the worst

by Jazmin A.

this people wanted to charge me over $500 dollars to cure my dog who had a stomach pain. I bought pepto bismol for $7 and I cure him.
This people really overcharge customers and they have very little knowledge.

So Sad...So BAD!

by D H D.

Dishonest Vet!Talked me into giving my dog more frequent baths: Results dry skin of course. Sold me many tests & products. Gave my cat a lab workup while the animals were boarded without my permission.Wanted to charge me an additional $150.00 for this dis-service.The very nice receptionist that was working & new I did not authorize this, said, "I don't know what is wrong with her(Dr Ina). With a 1" stack of paid bills I have now gone down the road.I hope you do the same!I CARE!

Clean, caring, expert and affordable!

by Dan S.

After my cat developed a problem with vomiting I took her to a number of vets and specialists but nothing was working. My sister (who has 2 dogs and a cat and swears by this place) asked me to consider taking the cat here.

I called and left a message. Dr. Ena called me back and spoke for 30 minutes asking questions and offering suggestions without having an appointment or charging me a penny. I followed up with an appointment and immediately found the place cleaner than most vet hospitals and Dr. Ena took as much time as necessary to get to know the cat and put us both at ease.

Ultimately despite having seen many more expensive vets and not coming up with anything more than expensive tests, Dr. Ena moved forward with a diagnosis and plan, which has so far been both an effective and affordable treatment which has allowed my older cat to return to a near normal healthy lifestyle.

Subsequently, Dr. Ena has continued to call to check up and return calls with detailed follow ups all at no additional charge.

I continue to take my cat (and all future animals of mine) to Dr. Ena and Bellflower Veterinary Hospital despite living more than 20 miles away. I highly recommend this vet and facility for their care and expertise.

unprofessional and overpriced

Pet owner BEWARE!! I brought my pet here for an exam and boarding and thank god I saw the kennels before bringing my pet in. All the pets in the kennels seemed extremely stressed out, panting and barking in a panicky way. One girl there confessed to me that they do not actually spend as much time with the animals as they say. they see them maybe twice a day when they feed them and change their water and clean the kennel. They don't even get the walks they charge you for. Not to mention the state of disrepair of the kennels themselves. Many runs were bent or broken and not in use. ALL of the kennels had flaking paint and were covered in rust. There was barely any circulation in there, I started sweating as soon as I stepped in to look around. Not to mention that it smelled like feces. The entire staff was very unprofessional and the doctor smelled really bad, like onions and feet.

I cant believe they still have clients

This veterinary hospital absolutely sucks!!! DO NOT take your pets there!!! not only do they not care for your pets in a professional manner. THEY CHARGE YOU TO MUCH!!! I HAD TO PRACTICALLY DONATE A FREAKIN' KIDNEY. I found that they have no standard prices for standard procedures. Its like the vet charges according to the what day of week it is, or what kind of month they've had. They wanted to charge me a nearly $500.00 dollars to spay my dog who is absolutely healthy and only six months old, not to mention that the price could esculate 10%-20% percent. when investigated else where the standard set price was nearly shy of $300.00. no thank you I will not be bringing my dog back ever again!

So far so good...

by Lanny H. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 12,758

I moved into the area, and was in need of a new vet. I came upon this vet's website, which showed how this office travelled to New Orleans after Katrina to help the animals affected by the the hurricane. I was really impressed by that. The office is nice and clean. Dr. Ena and the vet techs really seem to love animals. My dog is on the shy side, and she took the time to get to know her (and bribe her with yummy treats). I highly recommend this vet.
