It's embarrassing that the negative feedback in here are from those who can't write like the one two comments below mine. I'm here to refute those poorly written and highly emotive ones. SHS is a great school for the kids and family as well. It's academically sound, with most, if not all, spilling into the private Catholic high school after graduation, well-mannered and prepared for more challenges. Sometimes, I think the kids get too much homework or are held up to too much responsibility at such young ages. Yet, they seem to thrive. SHS is also very open and warm to all parents. However, it is also a microcosm of the larger population, so there will be disagreements between parents and with administration. That aside, I believe the first priority should be on the children, and the School does provide a fertile learning environment in a communal setting.

It is a private school, which means tuition is high, and there are numerous volunteer and financial commitments asked from the parents. SHS is no different in that area.

Pros: academics & community

Cons: perhaps too much homework

.

Students are well taught. There are not 45 students per class. Classes average 32-37 students. The main drawback is the principal not having enough experience with this much responsibility. The teachers are well versed and are able to teach the Catholic faith. My children have done well there and should do well once they get to high school.

Pros: No playground fights here.

Cons: Princial not experienced enough. Needs to be replaced.

This a worst school they packed kids up to 45 student per class and wants so much contribution all the time you have to work for them cause they said its not enough the fee your paying give me a break!!!
Its all about them giving money to celebrate one of their staff,or their agenda, But for the parents. Its all about how much contribution they can get its all about other (Money) How about the kids and their family.
