I called to place a takeout order and noticed on their website that they offered a $29.95 deal for 2 entrees and a cold appetizer. When I called to ask about the offer, the person who took my order said "That's no longer valid. The website is old." After a few minutes, I called back again and explained that if the offer was posted on the website with no expiration date, they should honor the price. When I was denied again, I asked to cancel the order and was called "very unprofessional" by the person on the phone. I said they were the ones being "unprofessional" because they didn't hold true to what was advertised on their website...and then the person hung up on me.

I would recommend calling in for an order and ask if they honor that discount to get a glimpse of how you will probably be treated at the restaurant. Very rude.

I absolutely LOVE this place. Neither the food or service has ever dissapointed. One of the things that keeps us coming back is the cozy outdoor patio, which on a sunny day could not be any more perfect. The staff is very kind and quick to serve... their frittatas and pancakes are wonderful.

Awesome food!! The sauce on their shwarma's are unlike any other mediteranean stores...absolutely delicious. The Fattoush Salad is my favorite with no oily salad dressing but with alot of add-in's that makes this salad a one of a kind. I need to have one every week.

Pros: delicious, not crowded (sometimes at brunch)

The best place to go for an early evening meal. The menu offers a variety of kabobs , but I recomend just picking one of the names you can"t pronounce. You"ll be very pleased with having been adventureous. everything from salads and appitizers are really good. The mint tea is recomended as a drink with the meal but a choice of middle eastern beers are available.

Pros: fast service -nice atmosphere -vegetarian dishes- generous portions

Cons: parking after 7pm can be a problem

This place is the best kept secret both for amazing Pakistani food and for weekend brunchwhich offers both tradition American brunch and med options. I don't get why no one knows about this place. Everyone lines up for the mediocre food at Savor and meanwhile this place can always seat you right away. Try the hot spinach plate and the vegitarian dishes especially. Great outdoor seating on the patio.

Food & Service is Slipping-Very Rude! Been going to restaurant a number of times for the great food and bread w/dip. Ordered the lamb dish ($17.95) to go and then the order was missing the bread/dip. The owner had the nerve to complain that bread is not included for to go orders and that the special bread was only served like 10 years ago! Hey this restaurant hasn't been in business for 10 years yet! Then he gave me just pita bread and dip. The lamb was good but not like in the past and the pita/dip was very poor! If this restaurant sells to go food , then it should treat customers like customers! I am not coming back with this rude owner taking my order!

I live right around the corner from this place and it's hands down my favorite restaurant in Noe Valley. If I had to pick one dish to try, I'd go with the Barhoumi wrap. Then again, you really can't go wrong with anything this menu. I also recommend sitting out on the back patio when it is open. There is nothing better than having a weekend Brunch at Fattoush. Great restaurant, highly recommended!

This place is great for brunch AND dinner. For some reason, it never gets too crowded, which is all the more reason to go. And the owner, Ahmed, is really warm to the customers. Never had a single bad order.

Situated on Church street, just south of 24th, Fattoush is one of the best all round meals going. I started going there originally for breakfast as the outdoor dining in the back is awesome on nice days. All the usual suspects are there, eggs benedict, french toast, pankakes, along with some mediteriannan flare such as the scramblers he puts together.

Then I found the shwerma, hands down best in the city, and the rest is history. I ususally go with the 2 person sampler and the mixed shwerma wrap. I have tried others, but Im wired for the shweremas. I think I have eaten there twice a week for about a month now.

Highly recommeneded, best food in Noe Valley (Savor and Chloe's dont offer the selection or freshness of food. Not to mention, it isin't a greasy spoon like those.)

I had to throw together a birthday dinner for a group of 12 at the last minute, and Fattoush came to the rescue! They were extremely accomodating (allowing me to change the number a couple of times) and welcomed us with friendly and warm smiles when we arrived. Everyone in the group found something (or several things!) that appealed to his/her palate and left with their bellies full and happy. The server made some great recommendations! The atmosphere is more relaxed and service is a bit on the slow side, but food and group-friendly environment areworth the wait.

We live in the area & eat there about once a week. The food is amazing - something for every taste. Each dish is unique and perfectly prepared and seasoned. If you like middle eastern food but want something a little out of the ordinary, you'll love it. The owner is very particular about ingredient quality & it shows. I especially recommend the mansaf (lamb, rice & yoghurt dish- everyone I've introduced to it has raved!) and the fresh seafood dishes. The wine list is small but very good and has some unusual selections. The owner is nice and helpful and he is the main server many nights. About complaints on the service - it can be disorganized when the place gets very crowded quickly, because they usually don't have a lot of staff on. We have occasionally had some delays in being seated or getting our food and drinks, though nothing bad enough to ruin the experience. They always try very hard to give good service, but it feels more casual and neighborhood than fancy restaurant-like. If you are not a stickler about that, and don't mind it being a little hectic on a crowded night, I think the food more than makes up for it! Go relaxed and ready to enjoy the delicious food and nice atmosphere. Also, check out the patio - very nice.

The food is definitely good, though you can get a better breakfast less than a block away at the restaurant on the corner. However, you'll have to wait an hour to get in there, and Fattoush will do. The dinners are very good here though, and all around it's worth a visit.

High school graduation, and friends and family were in town. Couldn't find a place in Noe Valley that would take reservations for brunch. Fattoush was very accomodating and was patient with our moving target-time arrival. We sat on the patio and had a GREAT brunch with items for everyones' taste. Delicious and fresh, including the fresh mint tea in a glass. It was beautiful yet casual which suited my daughters style.

We ate at Fattoush on a Tuesday night so we didn't have any problems waiting in line or being seated promptly. The waitstaff were a bit on the slow side to deliver the warm pita bread with unusual but good dipping sauce; they were also very hands-off our entire meal. The menu was exotic yet approachable -- there were many appealing choices to choose from. The food was incredibly good; Fattoush uses spices creatively and wonderfully. We ordered one vegetarian dish with eggplants, mushrooms and tomato sauce and a lamb dish with yogurt and almonds -- I highly recommend both dishes. We'll be back again soon!

We have had three opportunities to experience Fattoush since we moved into the neighborhood 2 months ago. The food was absolutely delicious- and for true San Franciscan "foodies" that is the highest praise we can offer! The atmoshere was relaxed and it was easy to carry on conversation. It was a romantic place and the prices are reasonable. The owner was extremely helpful at selecting dishes when we didn't know exactly what some of them were. He has made different recommendations to us each time and each and every dish was a sensory delight. It's also fun to share dishes here as each one is so unique. We were recommended to this restaurant from a neighborhood local and now we know why. It is the best kept secret in Noe Valley!

I went for the first time with a friend and we waited in line for about 20 minutes with no acknowledgement from any staff. there wer empty tables but no one helped. When we finally got someone to seat us i requested patio seating and was handed my menu and told to take myself to the patio. we sat down and were given water but had to wait another 20 minutes or longer just to make our order and then to get our food. we each got the french toast which was really good. the service was absolutely horrible!!!! there was no service. the food was over priced considering all we got.

I recently dined for the second time at Fattoush, a delightful little restaurant in the heart of noe valley....and i wanted to recommend to all you gourmets out there a dish called Mansaf (a nomadic dish) comprised of lamb, rice and yogurt and topped with roasted almonds, which i found out of this world... i have eaten at numerous middle eastern restaurants over the years, but have never tasted anything quite like it!

Great food, lovely unpretentious but elegant atmosphere. Warm service, nice place to talk since the music isn't too loud. The food goes beyond typical Middle Eastern fare - creative while not being over-the-top showy. Generous portions. Yum!

I've been going to Fattoosh for years, and it is one of my favorite places in SF. The delicious food here is different from most Middle Eastern food in the city. The mansaf (lamb or chicken in a rich yogurt sauce) and the sumac chicken wrapped in filo dough w/ saffron yogurt sauce are both amazing. It also has a great wine list. The interior is really nice, & it's a great place for a relaxing meal & when it's open, the outdoor patio is fabulous. The brunch here is great, but if you haven't tried dinner there - you should. I concur with some of the other reviewers that the owner can seem a bit abrupt. But he's actually a really nice guy, and the food is definitely worth it.

The name of this restaurant comes from one of the meals it serves: grilled eggplant mixed with tomatoes, mint, cucumber, Italian parsley and green onion, sprinkled with sumac and tossed in a special lemon vinaigrette. It's traditionally…
