This is the best health food store I've ever found. They are helpful, knowledgeable, and carry EVERYTHING! The only drawback is, they only have one location, and I don't live near them anymore!

When I lived down the street, this is where I'd go for a homemade cup of soup. They have tables outside. They have produce, many products, and food in bulk. There is parking under the condo.

If you have food allergies, like me, this is a fantastic place to go because of the wide variety of brands being carried. Prices are fairly expensive - similar to Whole Foods - but they carry products even Whole Foods does not...especially for dairy-free, gluten-free people such as myself. It's a very good place to shop at - check it out!

I live right near Erewhon but can't do all my shopping there. The prices for organic and speciality foods are very cmpetitive but the store just isn't big enough to cover all the foods a person needs. I love their huge variety of prepared foods and appreciate the number of brands of vegan and vegetarian foods they offer, but the limited produce is regularly a disappointment. There are plenty of healthy, veggie goodies at Erewhon to entice even the biggest meat lover, but also make the most serious health nut feel well satisfied.
PROS: Huge variety of vegan and vegetarian foods.
CONS: Too small a store to hold everything I need - especially produce.

I love it here. One-stop shopping for the health-conscious gourmet. Wine, cheese, a zillion kinds of tempeh, fresh organic fruit and veg, an excellent selection of organic dairy stuff, every kind of vitamin supplement you can imagine, homeopathic remedies, essential oils, cool and weird kinds of flour and pulses, and a gigantic deli case with surprisingly good takeout foods--soups, quiches, sandwiches and sweets. It's right next door to The Grove.
