My toes hurt from the man-handling they went through at this place and my waller hurts from the $15 dollars I wasted on my "spa pedicure". I simply stopped in because I'm new to the neighborhood, but I won't be making that mistake anymore.

Pros: Cheap, uncrowded, obviously!

Cons: Low skill level, Bad polish job, Unfriendly

I've had my nails done here a couple of times. Their shop is large and spacious, with plenty of light -- though the decor isn't anything to write home about. They offer manicures, pedicures, waxing, and massages. Their supplies looked clean, and I noticed they diligently put stuff into the autoclave machine (I was sitting right by it). I've always been satisfied with my results, particularly given the price. Service isn't exactly 5 star, but they workers are generally fine. One time I went there I kept being asked to wait in the middle of my manicure so the woman working with me could answer the phone, or do other things. It may have just been a fluke, though.

This is the real deal, ladies. Not the soothing spa experience (which is why we only have 4 out of 5 stars), but that quality manicure that stays. Roomy bilding that never feels crowded, friendly staff that take a full 45 minutes to massage, buff and polish. None of that rush job cheapie stuff.

Minna is mid-range on the price, and sometimes they are a little understaffed so I recommend a reservation. Equally excellent for acrylic nails, which is truly hard to find. If you care more for results than decor, check these guys out.
