I am a news anchor who is on TV everyday - so I need to have perfect hair all of the time. Problem is, I have almost black hair that I color blond which was always turning slightly orange. So, when I heard Kim Vo was the "best blonder", I naturally made an appointment with him. I was REALLY disappointed!! I went back though (I know, you're asking yourself why I would go back after a crappy dye job!!) and I am so glad I did because I was scheduled with Adam and he is AMAZING!!!! I have been seeing him for 2 years now and my hair is so natural looking - so much so that when I went for laser hair removal, the technician said, "Natural blonds don't always have the best luck with laser hair treatments." There is a down side to B2V though - although, the salon did get a little remodel, it is still a little dirty. ... especially the closet sized bathrooms. But, Adam is worth it. If you have ever had problems with your dark hair turning brassy and orange when you're trying to go blond - just go to Adam and he'll make you look like you've always dreamed!!!!

I was afraid to get my hair done here because I didn't know anyone who had ever gone there. After reading reviews I thought I would give it a try. I did have some sticker shock when I found out the price for the Japanese hair straightener but because I had an event comming up I forced myself to see the value in it. I think I was there 4 or 5 hours... I have a lot of hair. I think my stylist was named Vito. He was awesome. I hadn't eaten anything all day and I didnt want to buy myself lunch (my hair was expensive) and I think he felt bad for me or something cause he gave me half of his own sandwhich! The only bad thing that happend to me was that durring the consultation he told me they take Discover Card. After I went through the whole straightening process I went to pay my bill only to find that they do not take Discover and I didnt have another card on me! I had to take money out of the ATM on my credit card which is pretty bad intrest wise but at least MY HAIR LOOKS AMAZING!!

Pros: service and skill are above expectation

Cons: parking and they dont know what credit cards they take after years being open!

My first time at this salon. My hairdresser was in a hurry. Didn't even offer me water. Nor, did he ask me about the conditioning treatment. I was out of there with haircut and blowdry in 30 minutes. Did not receive the personalized service i was expecting.

I have been so happy since I was referred to B2V for my hair. I finally feel like I have found the kind of salon i have always looked for in L.A. I just had my wedding and flew Vito out to do my hair on the east coast! he is that GREAT!!! What a wonderful person, extremely talented stylist, and so down to earth and fun to talk to. I have had a fabulous time every time I have ben there this year (and getting ready for a wedding meant almost every other week). Vito is the best, the customers always are friendly, and even though i don't know Kim Vo, he seems so sweet and warm and unassuming. It's great vibes and I would highly reccommend it to anyone.

I have been getting my cut/color done at B2V for the last year and a half and LOVE it. Lisa really knows how to do an absolutely amazing blonde! I have naturally dark hair and have visited too many salons that have made me orang-y/brassy, but this place gets it right every time. Lisa has completely rehabbed my hair.
It's a calm, chill, salon without the airs of pretension common in other salons I have been to. Also here, I never feel rushed or hurried. The staff totally goes out of their way to make sure clients feel at home and comfortable. Everyone is super nice (no snooty salon attitude here), and the receptionist is just the sweetest.
It is a little pricey, but it is so worth it to leave looking and feeling fabulous

Ok, first off I must rave about Kim and Vito, I LOVE THEM!! Kim is great! Great colorist as well as a hoot to talk to! Very friendly, not at all like many of the other Beverly Hills stylists that are WAY too proud of themselves! I also recommend Vito if you need a quality cut and style, he is amazing! I can't say enough good things about this place, the entire staff is GREAT! They will really make you feel at home. Not to mention, that the salon is small and cozy, you don't feeling like you are being bused through a fast food joint. Convenient valet parking, great staff, aswesome cut and color..........WHY WOULD YOU GO ANYWHERE ELSE?!?!!? Check them out, you will not be disappointed! BTW, Congrats on Vegas and your other salon in BH!! :)

Pros: COLOR, CUT, and STYLE. Everyone is always smiling and very friendly!!! LOVE IT!

Cons: I made the mistake of getting there before the valet and parked on the street, got a ticket. NO BIG!

I have been going here since it opened and have been a client of Kim Vo since he used to work at Prive. The staff here are all professional and the technicians are skilled. Highly recommended.

I had been frequenting an upscale salon in Beverly Hills for the past couple years (and had visited many reputedly excellent salons in Los Angeles before that), but needed a change. B2V seemed younger, but not overly trendy (a positive characteristic). The salon has a good location convenient to Beverly Hills, Robertson, and Melrose shopping. Anyway, Keitaro was wonderful, especially since I was really apprehensive about taking any length off (I miss my long hair). At first it looked like he was chopping off about twice as much as I was comfortable with, but the outcome was wonderful. He was very thorough and stopped frequently to ask me how I felt or to explain what he was going to do next. And what a nice guy! The salon is casual and comfortable, not stuffy at all. I also received a rinse as well, but since it wasn't a more complicated process, I can't comment on Keitaro's coloring skills. I think that I'll ask for some color next time.

Keitaro is the man! Excellent with color. He makes you feel at ease. Salon is quite busy, but bad for Beverly Hills. Valet and some meter parking.

I first met Kim Vo (owner) a few years back when my colorist royally screwed me up. I had read articles about Kim in several mags so I decided to go see him.
Kim Vo welcomed me as if he had known me for years. And MAMA was wonderful also.(Mama takes care of everyone, offering cappucinos, iced tea with umbrellas, etc)
My hair color was AMAZING!!!! So natural and beautiful. Kim "painted" on my color to give it natural variations, rather than streaks!! Also, I now get my hair Japanese straightened! This is a very harsh process on your hair! However, Kim uses some type of Vegetable Coloring on my hair - NOT BLEACH!!!!! And still I get beautiful highlights
Amazing!
Best part of all**he charged me less to correct my color than I was charged by my old colorist to screw it up!
I will NEVER go anywhere else.

Kim (the owner of the salon) is amazing when it comes to coloring. And Todd is meticulous in his technique and skill. Awesome!!! Love the place. You feel really taken care of when you go to this salon. That's why Kim is in magazines everywhere.

After reading a fabulous review for the salon in Allure magazine,I decided to get a haircut at B2v.
I ended up getting the most fabulous haircut I've ever had from Rick Henry.
I had decided to go for bangs and he asked me if I wanted layering around my face as well. I was unsure, but said "okay". He picked up on this and asked me if I wanted to decide after he cut my bangs.
I later decided against the layers, but I was so glad that he asked me first and gave me time to consider it first.
I've only lived in L.A.& Manhattan.I must say I saw the most rockin' haircuts on the women walking out of B2v salon.
I went to Ralph's to pick up dinner afterward and got two compliments on my haircut from total strangers!
