Goat Hill Pizza proudly serves one of San Francisco's treats. Sourdough crust! Our pizzas are baked in a traditional brick oven with fresh ingredients, cheeses and housemade pizza sauce. We also have delicious soups, salads and pasta that go perfectly with any one of our amazing wines or pitchers of local beer. Our pizzeria has a devoted local following that is proud of their (so far) undiscovered Potrero Hill neighborhood spot. Large windows look north and west over the city, making Goat Hill a prime spot to catch the summer sunset. We also have live piano jazz on Tuesday & Wednesday nights, great for the whole family or while you wait for your order. Goat Hill has been named one of the Top 10 pizzerias in San Francisco year after year. We invite you to taste our goodness and to see why we call it ?our little slice of heaven! Goat Hill in Potrero is what great pizza is all about.

Goat Hill Pizza has delicious pizzas to choose from. On Monday nights it's all you can eat and it's fun to taste all of the different combinations, even though their classic pepperoni is really good.

Neighborhood Hot Spot

Monday night is can't miss at Goat Hill. Although the wait can be long (up to an hour), sipping beers and wines one the sidewalk is a great way to pass the time. $9.99 for all you can eat is a steal, and the probability of a repeat slice is low, and variety can't be beat.
PROS: Monday Nights

Best Pizza In 94107
by rockngal
Sourdough crust, fresh toppings.. My favorite pizza in Potrero Hill, double bonus is that they deliver (they have 2 locations). Monday nights- all you can eat pizza and salad.
A San Francisco Must Try!
Pros: Sourdough Crust, Monday night ALL u CAN EAT

Great pizza
by therealmccrea
Very homey. Great pizza. Service was a bit slow, but the quality of the pizza made up for that. I am writing this review mainly to see it show up in Facebook via Facebook Connect. CitySearch says it must be at least 100 characters. Think I've made that goal.
Pros: Great pizza
Cons: Service a bit slow

Very Good Pizza
by balderston401
I found this place by searching on city search on Sunday. I planned to have a bite of pizza there. When I arrived, I got parking easily. Their staff welcomed me warmly. When I entered there.....Oh GOD ! ! ! there were huge number of people from different community. I ordered for pizza and got it after waiting a long time. As I read in review it was sooo tasty. I asked garlic sauce once more but due to huge number of customer it took long time and I left the place. That is why I am giving 4 star. This restaurant missed one more star due to lack of attention on customer. Over all it is good for tasty pizza.

Good, but not great
by MelissaFromIL
We ate here today after reading reviews on CitySearch. We thought it was good pizza, but definitely not the best, and definitely not a four and a half star joint. This would be pizza we'd order in on movie night.

Not recommended on Monday Night.
by Bearwithbeerisnofear
Good serves, Good atmosphere, and Easy parking.
However, all you can eat pizza is not worth to pay $8.99.
I like the idea of using sourdough but they use just a little cheese with red sauce.
I liked the souce but it does not mach to sourdough.(The souce is already a bit sour and dough is sour so it makes more sour)
The way they make pizza is like making thin-crust pizza.
Small amount of cheese, light-taste souce, and small-cut toppings but use sourdough.
What I mostly liked about pizza was they rarely used garlic to make tasty. Only inexperienced chefs use a lot of garlic because their foods taste nothing without it.
So I would say good try!! But need improvement.
Maybe they can use more toppings such as minced onions, more kinds of mushrooms and eggplants.
And also They need either more cheese or different kind of cheese.
If you are people who can taste better than most people JUST AVOID ON MONDAY NIGHT.
This place may be good for couple even though it can get very crowded because they have some wines and you do not have to stand up to get more pizza.
******When I rate, I only use scale "Not recommended", "Recommended" or "Highly recommended".
Pros: Easy parking and good for groups. Nice atmosphere and may be good for couple, too.
Cons: All you can eat pizza.

Truly San Francisco
by tlorenz
Monday nights at Goat Hill really make this city pizza place feel like the community hang out- there are a lot of regulars and everyone's in a good mood. Plus, the pizza is incredible (LOVE the sourdough crust) and the combinations of toppings allow for some originality on the usual staple. I also reccommend the garlic cheese bread, dripping with cheese and oil and flavor... it's perfection. Goat Hill is great!
Pros: Monday nights all you can eat
Cons: Service can be rough when busy

Best Pizza I Have Ever Had
by Ehart999
I don't usually review restaurants but this pizza is the best! I have shared it with a hand fun of friends already and they too agreed it was very good. I just hope by sharing my opinion won't cause too many people to go there making my wait time longer

I had a blast
by lilpianogirl
A couple of my friends and I went to all you can night at Goat hill. We had a blast the service could have been better. Other than that we had great time. I loved the chicken and sundried tomato so I would go back, but only on Mondays all you can eat you get a better bargain.
Pros: Good pizza, Parking, good beer and wine list
Cons: below average service

terrible customer service!
by dbridgett
I showed up at goathill pizza with a large party and we all left feeling humiliated. there was , what could have been, a relatively minor incident around our party being seated. Instead it turned into a night of punishment for all of us. To add insult to injury, the owner of goathill pizza was as rude and inappropriate as his staff. If you want to be taught a harsh lesson, like they attempted to teach us, simply treat yourself to a night at a lovely s/m bar in the city, not goathill pizza.
Cons: read review

Good on all you can eat Mondays
by kr333
This is California style pizza, so go with that expectation. Monday night is all you can eat night and is pretty good since you can try lots of different kinds of pizza and say no to those that just don't look like they are worth your time. It gets crowded though, so go early or just plan on hanging out drinking beer and chatting with friends until a table opens up.

Very Average
by chico99
I ordered a large take out pie and I found it limp and lack of robust flavours, a fluke I thought. Based on another reviewers reccomendation I went on a Monday night for sampling-fest. I was right the first time, the pizza simply lacks a good crust, cheese, and sauce. Having lived in Boston, Chicago, and NY, I know pizza is not all created equal and this place is a let down. I'll just call it grub.
Nice view of SF though.

Best Pizza so far...
by ukgrad04
I haven't found the best pizza place in SF yet, but Goat Hill is pretty good. We get it delivered at work sometimes. We get several varieties, but my favorite so far is the Chicken Florentine. It's yummy, but make sure you don't leave spinach in your teeth!

Goat Meat instead of chicken ???
by bagawk
I ordered a take out large pizza from this place and it was really bad. I dont know where to begin. The pizza was terrible over all. The chicken was obviously old and had absolutely no flavor. There was lots of brown meat as well. The pesto tasted fishy. I do not mean to be terribly harsh, but this place was a waste of money, with only 4 toppings, it cost nearly 30 dollars! There are far better places to go.
Pros: open late
Cons: Taste, Freshness, Price

Average Pizza
by abatardi
For anyone that thinks this pizza deserves anything higher than a 7 out of 10, they've never had really good pizza... This pie was extremely similar to a standard pie found at any 'house of pizza' around the US. Spiced up sauce to cover up low quality tomatoes, grande cheese, standard toppings, crust was pretty good but didn't make up for the rest of the pizza.
It must be local San Francisco pride for their sourdough that is pushing the ratings on this shop so high.
Pros: Crust, Atmosphere
Cons: Mediocre toppings

Best Pizza EVER
by stinkerpants
I moved to San Francisco about a year ago, and I've eaten a lot of pizza since then...this is not only the best pizza I've had in SF, but the best pizza I've had ever! The crust is perfect, the seasonings are delicious...I've never had anything like it!
Pros: delicious pizza, friendly staff, everything!

Not for the traditionalists
by vassariggy
It's something about the crust: the sourdough is different, but nothing to write home about. I've always had delivery: the stuff comes fast and hot. Lots of toppings to choose from. The pizzas are not "wet," ie the cheese is not goopy and sliding off, but instead almost seem a bit dry. And like SF in general, pizzas here are somewhat expensive. Try it, you might like it: it just don't think it's my thing.
Pros: Good fast service, Great delivery, Food hot
Cons: Pizza bit dry, Bit pricy

Fantastic pizza pie! I have also had the spaghetti dinner and was not dissapointed. Although it seems like a locals spot, it doesnt get much easier and better than this if you are looking for a simple and enjoyable pizza dinner.

This is the best pizza I've ever had. The "Greek Special" is wonderful. Monday nights all you can eat is always exciting. Nothing can compare.

GREAT Pizza
by msmorrissey
This is a total neighborhood place, but it is so good we come from the Castro to eat here. The sourdough crust gives the pizza another delicious dimension. All the ingredients are fresh, and just scrumptious. Go, you won't be dissapointed.
Pros: Pizza, Cheap Pitchers
Cons: Kind of slow service

Pizza Lovers Go to the Goat
by jenbrez
My husband has been trying to get me to Goat Hill for the last year. Since our first visit a month ago we have been back two times! I highly recommend first-timers head there on Monday nights for their all you can eat experience. It includes a salad bar and hand-delivered, fresh baked, gourmet pizza slices. The pizza really is the best in San Francisco. Check it out!
Pros: Affordable, Excellent Pizza, Good service

This is a Potrero hill best. I'm glad it's still fairly unknown
Pros: pizza

Great, fresh, cheap pizza
by mbelanger
Goat Hill Pizza is a landmark. The pizza is like no other you'll try. Some hate it, most love it. If you're a first timer, you must visit on Monday, which is all you can eat night. You'll get an solid mix of what they have to offer and it'll be lively.
Don't expect a 5-star wine list or romantic lighting, but Goat Hill excels at what it is, a solid neighborhood pizza place. Besides, the great chianti and views of the locals should more than hold you over.
Pros: Choices, Price, All you can eat night
Cons: Bland atmosphere

yummy pizza
by funloverinsf
the pizza was awesome, as well as the dressing on the house salad. we went really early for dinner so it was dead when we got there but by the time we left, it was hopping with couples, groups of friends and families - nice mix of people; it's not a place you go for swanky atmosphere but rather more a neighborhood pizza parlor place. pretty casual. great for darn good pizza and a beer.
Pros: GREAT pizza, house dressing, old school environmen

Don't expect a smile from the staff

I frequent "the goat" sooo much that I should buy stock in em! I take large groups of friends there all the time - and frequent it for lunch too ($5 slice & salad special!) Their pizza is sooooo delicious and their salads are really yummy! salads: kidney beans, garbanzo beans, feta, olives, peppercini's - yumm! yummy wine & beer - affordable and great waitstaff. Go have my favorite: Pepperoni, black olives & mushrooms :) mmm! this is making me hungry!
Pros: fun atmosphere, delicious food, affordable
