Grace Lutheran Preschool

I was a member of the very first class at this Preschool (1974?). It was a fabulous place then and I am thrilled to hear it remains terrific. A few years ago, we were visiting the area and I was very tickled to see my grandpa's playhouse on stilts still in use in the yard, but can understand if the school renovates after 30+ years! I am currently on the board of a new preschool in Maine and hope to create a program with the same great facility, wonderful teachers, and community spirit.

Run don't walk over and check out GLPS. It is the most wonderful preschool, and we were lucky to send our children there. If you are looking for a play based, open learning environment, this is the school for you. They have started to remodel the back yard play area, and I can only say that I wish I had more kids to send there.
It is a co-op, so be prepared to roll up your sleeves, but there are no night meetings, or class meetings, hence the requirements are very low on the parent end. It is also VERY affordable compared to the other schools in the area. It's a real steal.

I LOVE GRACE LUTHERAN PRESCHOOL! I went there and personally I think it is the best place to send your kids becuase the teachers are so nice and it is just in general a great environment for kids to be in! My favorite memory was making loaves of yummy bread and the tire swing...and the birthday hat for whoevers birthday it was! The birthday fairy, the play house, the memories could go on FOREVER! Please take everything in consideration when you choose which preschool for your child to go to.

I went to this preschool (class of '00) and I can say from experience that this preschool is THE BEST one that you can ever sent your kids to. I still remember baking apple pies on the first day and baking pumpkin pies for Halloween and the occasional loaf of bread. If you like examples, look at me, straight A's and I'm on student council. What more can you expect from a kid? SEND YOUR KIDS TO THIS PRESCHOOL!!! TRUST ME THEY WILL LOVE IT!!!

A few of my friends are sending their kids to this preshool. The kids seem to enjoy the place. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe. The staff is very caring and even try to hold and pacify the kids when they are crying. It is neatly maintained and has a nice play are for the kids too.

This preschool is nestled behind the quiet neighborhoods on loma verde. My younger cousins went here and I was tasked to pick them up from time to time.

They have a nice large playground structure. The interior is spacious and colorful with student art adorning the walls. Most importantly, the kids are happy and seem to be interested in the daily activities.

All three of our children attended Grace Lutheran Preschool in Palo Alto and had a wonderful and creative time exploring the world around them. Its a parent co op (1 work morning per month), and a fantastic community. The teachers are committed and the program (play based) is lovely, energetic and dynamic. Its "mildly" religeous and welcomes every family, regardless of their faith.
