Capistrano VW is by far the best dealership I have ever worked with. No pressure, extremely friendly and worked with me to make a deal. Sales staff was courteous and helpful. Finance team made me feel comfortable and at ease. The showroom was awesome. Loved the ammenities while we went through the paperwork process. 220 inch TV, refreshments, and popcorn helped make the time go by quickly. Very clean operation!

Awful service, very shady clerk/mechanics. My car only has under 11K miles, and I took my car in for a recall notice and the regular oil change service. Since, then I've noticed that the tire safety light lit on the front panel to alert me to check my tire pressure. Seemed find except for one tire slightly below. Added air. Reset the lit warning light. Then a week later the light came back on, I took it the same dealer for service. They had the car all day just to wait for me to call and find out the status. I only drive the car to and from work, never drove over construction (nails), but the mechanic said that the tire sidewall was crushed, they didn't try to repair it to prevent any liability. I was to "buy" a new tire, and deal with it. They take people as IDIOTS!. I took it to another mechanic who was surprised that the VW repair misdiagnosed the problem. All for a new tire...what a business would do for a "buck' these days. BEWARE ... I'VE HEARD THAT THIS DEALER IS SHADY. I think they stuck the nail in to begin my problems. STAY AWAY, I'm reporting them to BBB.

RECEIVED ESTIMATE, DROPPED OFF CAR, NEXT MORNING INFORMED WORKING ON IT. AFTER WHAT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE 2 1/2 HR LABOR RECEIVED CALL 4 HRS LATER, CAR NOW HAS LOT OF ADDITIONAL BROKEN PARTS. NEW ESTIMATE NOW 3 X ORIGINAL. I FEEL SCAMMED

I had a terrible experience here. I dropped off my jetta for a new instrument cluster, and when I got it back, it had 112,000 miles on it, not my original 69,000. I had to drop the car off again, and got it back with 113,000 miles on it. Then, because someone wrote the wrong mileage when it was initally dropped off, I had to produce E-Z-Lube documents proving my mileage, like I was trying to swindle them!! Then, the service man said that due to legality issues, they could put it at 73,000 miles or reset the whole thing and include an "unknown mileage" sticker, which is basically a sticker saying "my car is impossible to sell". That was his suggestion? Pay $900 dollars and get totally ruined? Are they running a chop-shop? Honestly. Finally, the service guy (Mike O'Connor) checked the computer in the original cluster, a length to which he was too lazy to go before, and discovered my true mileage. So, I made six extra trips to the dealership, had to convince him I deserved a free rental car as I was being heinously inconvienced, make tons of calls and completely go out of my way. It was horrible. Don't go here. INCOMPETENT!!!!!!!
