Yard House Restaurant

this is a great place to go for a good lunch or dinner. They have a ton of appetizers covering a large range of styles from lettuce wraps to bernaise sliders. Crab Cakes to Jamaican Wings and much more! Their Onion Ring Tower is huge and not too greasy! Sandwiches, burgers, seafood, pizza and creative entrees round out this quality place. The crowd gets noisy and sometimes the wait is long but otherwise this place scores with both the business and college crowds!

Nice ambience...clean, fun...can go and hang out at the bar, eat dinner or dance downstairs. Great food, good night menu...really big place...the crowd dresses up...not scrubby.

This is one of the best places to eat downtown and you can tell by the wait! The food is awesome and the drinks are even better. It's definitely a Gas Lamp staple.

The yard house is in the gaslamp with a fantastic location. They have so many beer it can be hard to make a choice. It's a fun place to experience new beer. If you are ever in town for St. Patricks day, make sure to experience their green hefeweizen. The place is well taken care of and clean.

PROS: Good food, Great beer (and lots of it)
CONS: Food can be quite pricey, although typical of anywhere in the gaslamp.

A huge oval bar with over 100 beers on tap provides plenty of choice. I like the Eclipse (Guinness and Hefeweizen)--its like a black and tan. Tasty.

They have a terrific happy hour with half price appetizers. Perfect for a ballgame on an empty stomach.

PROS: Beer selection, happy hour
CONS: Need one in San Francisco and/or Marin
