India Cook House

We have frequented the India Cook House for the past ten years. Their prices are fair. We love the food! We are ALWAYS treated with the most dignity and respect. In fact, during out last visit there, we were having a wonderful time with friends that we forgot all about time - when we looked up the restaurant had closed - but no one ushered us out - but thanked us for being there. We would recommend the India Cook House to our family and our Indian friends.

I have not seen bad restaurant like this one. Owner of this resutarant is Foul-mouthed (rude) person and behaves very badly with customers. In spite of my closed friends bad comments about this restaurant I visited this place and experienced the same treatment. He treats customers like beggars.

So it is your choice if you still want to have food here. I felt being hungry is much better than taking food in this restaurant. :((

Try some other Indian restaurant in Irvine area.

This place is packed during its lunch buffet! The food is no frills, standard indian fare - but nothing too spectacular. The tandoori chicken, fish tikkas and lamb curry are my favorites. I also like the mango lassi at this place. The service is quite ordinary. If you're looking for a good ambience and decor, look elsewhere - I found more than once that the brand new tablecloths have stains on them.

Good place for standard moghlai indian food, no surprises, your basic chole, saag paneer etc. Naan is crisp and tasty, buffet is again standard but good quality.

Good place for decent vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Not an extraordinary restaurant, but food was pretty good and portions were big. Service was decent.
