My girlfriends and I love to celebrate special occasions here. The food is always so delicious- just like homemade. The staff is friendly. There is a cute little outside patio that is shaded by this amazingly huge tree. Baby showers and birthdays a must!

I am amazed at the negative reviews. I have eaten there at least fifty times (I live in the area) and have had only very good food, very good service as well as reasonable corkage.\r

Just went there for lunch on a beautiful day. The restaurant is adorably quaint but the food was just okay. Apple fritters were good but nothing special...we didn't even finish ours. Great for a girls lunch.

Great fresh, hot yeast rolls, apple fritters and a salad so fresh it will slap you or soup comes with every meal. My favorite main courses are the blackened fish and gumbo. The bananas foster ,for dessert, is sublime. All of this and southern hospitality too ! Just don't come here on a diet !

It's small, intimate, fine dining with an emphasis on Southern comfort foods like fried chicken and gumbo.
Devon and I go here for special occasions. Each meal comes with their famous apple fritters.
Galveston Pasta (chicken, shrimp, andouille sausage in a tequila lime sauce) is pretty hard to beat.

This unique little southern atmosphere provides excellent service and a variety of southern dishes from fried green tomatoes to dixie cut lemon caper chicken or ribs.
