Santanas food is just ok. I've bought their rolled tacos and I wasn't really all that impressed. Chain restaruants are all that good.

My burrito was not all that special. Considering I was drunk and it was late night, they get an additional star for their late hour drive thru feature

This drive-thru taco shop just opened a location in Scripps Ranch. Considering that they're right next to a Sombreros that has been there for more than five years they should be wooing their customers with excellent service. Instead, I've only been met with the same unfriendly counter woman that rushes orders and acts overly stingy with salsa. Today was the last straw when I ordered food for three people, but was told I could only have one bag of carrots for free and would have to pay 50 cents for each additional bag. I said that was fine until they handed me a bag of mixed jalapeno and red peppers that contained about three or four small carrots. I said no thanks and decided then I would never frequent this restaurant again. My decision was substantiated after I arrived home less than five minutes later to food that was practically ice cold. If this place survives it will only be due to their drive thru window. Otherwise there isno reason to eat here. The service is terrible and the food isn't much better.

Pros: Drive thru

Cons: terrible service and food

Great after hours spot when you're craving some yummy rolled tacos! I particularly love their rolled chicken flautas with the guacamole and absolutly their nachos... they are huge! They offer 1/2 orders of each also. Wonderful also because it's cleaner than your average taco shop.

Like Adal's, this is a local favorite if you're in the mood for some good, cheap, yet authentic mexican food. They don't have a large seating area, so most customers drive through. They make the food fresh, so it may take a few minutes longer than Taco Bell, but it's worth the wait. Prices are reasonable for the proportions. It's good stuff!
