Found this Japanese Restaurant and really liked the sushi when the owner was working the sushi bar. Things changed and so did the sushi. Rolls got smaller and didn't seem as fresh.
Bento boxes are a good choice and the tempura is good as well. They cannot accomodate to go orders if you want dipping sauces or soup to go. You must bring your own containers.

Small restaurant. Sometimes can find a seat quickly and sometimes not. Service is not the quickest. They have good Udon but they don't have any containers for to go for soups. So if you are interested in Udon to go, must bring your own container. Kids can eat their comfortably. Bento's are good and sometimes they have good bento combo specials.

I've only visited Shin for dinner. Sometimes we are seated right away, and sometimes we have a little wait. (I hear it's very crowded during lunch.)
I usually eat the katsu or the teriyaki, both of which I've always enjoyed. The service is so-so--you can be ignored for long periods of time.

Shin is a local family owned sushi place located in the old Sunrise Plaza on Blossom Hill Road. Shin Sushi has moved locations once, when the huge Sunrise Plaza did a renovation. This is a small restaurant, signs are all hand printed, booths are very close together, but the Bento boxes are delicious and the sushi always fresh. The portions here tend to be huge, I ordered tempura and got a large basket filled with different types of squash and other veggies.
They aren't likely to subsititue their combo boxes and plates but their unique sushi rolls and light and cripsy tempura make up for that.
PROS: Lots of parking, fresh sushi
CONS: Their hours are peculiar
