Reminds me of NOLA but . . .

Perhaps nothing in San Diego could come close to the true New Orleans experience I love so well.
Perhaps my expectations were way too high.
The food is OK- the people were nice- but it wasn't really like the "real thing" in Louisiana.
I probably will go back though, just because I really miss New Orleans.

I really enjoy eating at Chateau Orleans. Great Southern Food and Blues music on certain evenings. Tom Cat is a wonderful blues performer; makes me feel like I am back in New Orleans. Only local place to buy Community Coffee. The atmosphere is NOLA.

I like the fact that this place is a change of pace from most PB spots. The food and service is good, a little pricey, but they often have 2 for 1 coupons. I really like their popovers and authentic cajun cuisine. They only serve wine and beer, pretty low key (out of the way) place, great place to take a date.

Awesome food. Jambalaya is hot, and I don't mean spicy. Appetizers are also quite tasty and dessert beignettes (sp?) are also good choices. A tad on the pricy side, but well worth it, I think.
