Yes you can find just about anything you need to build something, repair something or knock it down. However, the customer service is horrible. I stood in front of a counter for 10 minutes without even being acknowledged and when other employees who were attending to other customers saw me, they didn't even try to get someone to help me! Incredibly frustrating! If you know what you are needing and can find it - you're good but don't try to get any help!

Home Depot is great for getting whatever you need at a discount price. The only problem - trying to find someone that can assist you in a timely manner is next to impossible so you have to be patient at times. They have recently installed a self checkout which really improves the checkout process - it has releaved some of the long lines that you had to wait on previously. Overall, I use this store when I want a bargain and not in a hurry. I also find that their garden center has the more common plants at very inexpensive prices and usually does not have the same type of delays found inside the store.

Great place if you know what you want and know where exactly in the store you can find it. We recently bought appliances from the store and was able to order the units that they did not carry in the store. They scheduled the delivery and it came right on time.
Wished they had an item locator at every isle.
PROS: Low cost
CONS: Can't find item fast

We contracted with Home Depot to replace our Garage Doors. We had a lot of sun and water damage on our wooden doors so we replaced them with steel doors (wood grain finish to look like wood). They use local contractors to actually do the installation and were very reasonable. The benefit is that Home Depot is responsible for the work so if there are any problems, you have a large company to hold accountable.
