St. Joseph of Cupertino is a unique place - it??s not just a fantastic, top-notch school with incredible teachers, but a welcoming and warm community for families. Our parish and school have no shortage of activities and community events to participate in - from the Crab Feed, to Spaghetti Dinner Night, the Auction, the Our Lady of Guadalupe celebration, Festival of Tables, and of course, the annual carnival! St. Joseph of Cupertino School also has a very strong Reach-Out program. Younger children participate in as cereal drives, making placemats at Thanksgiving for a family shelter, and singing at retirement homes. The older children assemble bag lunches monthly for Julian Street Inn and our 7th graders go to Sacred Heart Community Services twice a month. Children at St. Joseph's of Cupertino realize very early on that we all have a responsibility to share our time, talent and resources with those not as fortunate as ourselves.

The faculty, staff and administration at St. Joseph of Cupertino are excellent. They are an amazing team of hard-working, dedicated people who believe in the vocation of Catholic Education. The principal, Mary Lyons, is a wonderful leader and - in my opinion, the best principal in the Diocese of San Jose. Because of the high academic standards, graduates from St. Joseph's of Cupertino are accepted into their first choice of the local Catholic High Schools.

St. Joseph's of Cupertino School has a philosophy which emphasizes educating the "whole child". If you want the best of all worlds when it comes to your child's elementary school experience, send your child to SJC.
