South Novato Animal Hospital

I brought my beloved 15 year old cat to see Dr. Dahlman for an emergency. We were faced with the terrible news that he had lung tumors and had to put him to sleep.I was so impressed with the gentle way that Dr. Dahlman treated my cat. I had my two young children with me and didn't want them to be in the room with us. Dr Dahlman was so kind- he took them to the front desk to color so that I could hold my cat while he was put to sleep. The compassion and respect that everybody showed us that day will never be forgotten!

We moved to Novato from San Anselmo about 1 year ago, and started using South Novato Animal Hospital at that time. We highly recommend them. Everyone delivers excellent service and care. They treat your pet as if it were their own...what more could you ask for?

I've been taking my cats to Mike Dahlman since 2004 and have never had a bad experience. My animals have always been given great care, and treated with gentleness and understanding. I've had to put two cats to sleep in the last 18 months, and the staff at South Novato Animal Hospital made the experience bearable, for me and for my beloved kitties. I left a vet practice because I felt they did not handle my animals properly and would not hesitate to do that again. I can't recommend Mike Dahlman and South Novato Animal Hospital highly enough.

I have always had wonderful care given to all of my many pets from South Novato Animal Hospital. Dr. Miller is fantastic, and so is Dr. Dahlman. I have, over the years, had animals cleansed, stitched, vaccinated, spayed and also have had to put animals to sleep. One in particular was my beloved dog who had a terrible heart condition. After several years treating her condition with great care, it became clear that her quality of life had diminished, and it was time to ease her pain. All staff at S. Novato Animal Hospital were so wonderful and compassionate. I was able to be with her and hold her until the end. The staff allowed me time to grieve and grieved with me as well. I trust each member of the staff implicitly. Dr. Dahlman and Dr. Miller are in charge of the health and well being of my robust 1 year old dog and all 3 of my cats. I recommend them highly.

The vets and the staff are fabulous! I would not hesitate to bring an animal in! They are very friendly and knowledgeable, you can tell they love their jobs and the critters they help!!
