High Street Bridge Self Storage

Was offered a free month of storage from this facility as part of a promotion of renting a uHaul moving truck. Sounds great, right? So I sign up and pay the "admin" fee, only to find out it's NOT a free month, it's "pay the first month and the second month is free". This is against policy according to uHaul, who said "we would never do that to you."

That is bad enough, but then they didn't actually have the drive-up space and semi-decent rate they advertised that lured me to them in the first place. They called me back and tried to switch me to a SMALLER, MORE EXPENSIVE, LESS CONVENIENT inside space.

This deceptive business practice is called "BAIT AND SWITCH" and is illegal.

Save yourself the waste of time and avoid. AVOID!

This busines is awesome. I moved from a storage unit in San Jose that I won't even go into what a rip off they were and very expensive. I have been a customer since 2004 and HSBSS has always gone the extra mile in customer service. I would definitely recommend HSBSS to anyone looking for a clean and secure place to store their treasures. I also love the free popcorn from the hot air popcorn machine - just like the amusement parks! Thanks for the great service.

I viewed High Street Storage's claim that they are 'award winning' with skepticism; after all, who on earth gives out awards for public storage? Well, I found out why--they go the extra mile to provide customer comfort and courtesy, not to mention low rates. Despite the fact that I entered this facility only an hour before closing time, while driving a huge U-Haul, the ladies at the front desk were overwelmingly helpful, and even added a special discount for using U-Haul without being asked! They cheerfully showed me three different available storage units, suggesting an end unit on the second floor as being closer to the locking dock since I could use their elevator, rather than renting on the ground floor. They then showed me their selection of hand trucks and dollies, and offered me some free boxes. While I was backing up the 21" U-Haul, both of them came out and directed me with the dexterity of an air-traffic controller, demonstrating tremendous patience and caution. Although I only anticipate using their unit for a month or two, I would highly recommend the safety, cleanliness and extreme courtesy to anyone, anytime--bar none!
