3 Stars: a fun place (by Rochelle C.)

This is a good place for beginners but also challenging enough for pros. It is a little run down, but the management is usually pretty relaxed about slow play. A good course to play if you are looking for some fun on the course with friends.

3 Stars: Excellent value (by Rachel H.)

Tecolote Canyon Golf Course is not well maintained by any means -- lots of burned out patches of grass. But management is pretty lax about the players on the course and pretty much anything goes within reason. It is a non-confrontational stepping stone for a beginning golfer. The pro shop is decent but kind of small, and they have golf carts for rent as well. Prices are pretty cheap all day and even less expensive at the moonlight tee times.

4 Stars: Great executive course (by Joyce L.)

Tecolote Golf Course is a great course for beginners to challenge themselves or more advanced golfers just looking to take it easy for the day. One negative is that it can get hot on the course (due to its bottom of a canyon location), so bring plenty of water and sunscreen or a hat.

3 Stars: 18 hole executive course - one of few in town. (by Jason W.)

Highly suggest making a tee time at this popular executive 18 hole course. The course itself is challenging and not necessarily good for beginners due to hazards and tight fairways. It gets very crowded on weekends. It is also located in a valley which always seems to be 5-10 degrees warmer than surrounding areas. I would love this place except for the crowds and the tight layout.
