4 Stars: Cactus Taqueria is delicious! (by gin r.)

Cactus Taqueria is great food made quickly. I sometimes crave their crunchy chicken tacos! Their salsas are fresh and yummy and I love the little caramel cookies they sell too!

4 Stars: Pretty good (by katherine y.)

The food is very good. I especially like the fajitas. The salsas are fresh and very tasty. For me, there are other Mexican restaurants in the area that are better, but it is still good for variety.

5 Stars: World Class-- Without a Doubt!! (by Sarah Meredith M.)

As a New Mexican, I take burritos and tacos very seriously. When I moved to California I refused to think I would find a burrito that rivaled The Frontier in Albuquerque or Juan's Flying Burrito in New Orleans. Both locations, their food, and their decor are near and dear to my heart.

But Cactus has changed my perspective. I eat a burrito from Cactus, or the fish taco plate, on a weekly (sometimes bi-weekly!) basis.

The folks at Cactus are friendly, and the food is made quickly (but is quality). The horchata is divine; though I suggest asking for a mixture of the aguas frescas for a fruity and refreshing drink. The flan always looks tasty, but I've never had it.

Here's the best thing about Cactus: the salsa.
Though the College Ave. Cactus has the salsa de pina, which I could drink gallons of, the salsa verde and chipotle salsas on Solano are quite good.

I hope the salsa de pina will eventually make it to Solano, but until then I will continue to eat at both locations as often as I possibly can.

Cactus rocks. When will they print bumper stickers and t-shirts? I am ready.
