4 Stars: Great Chinese Food (by Michelle B.)

My family and I have been coming to this place for years for their excellent soups, tasty appetizers, and great main dishes. My favorites are the million layer pancake with green onion, the shrimp fried rice, and the eggplant with garlic sauce. Their dishes are uniquely and deliciously prepared.

5 Stars: THIS IS THE BEST CHINESE FOOD IN THE WORLD (by Gary G.)

When my wife and I first moved to Anaheim we needed to find a good Chinese restaurant. We went to the plaza kitty-corner to the Anaheim Plaza and noticed about 8-10 different restaurants. Thai, Chinese, Ribs, Fast food, rice bowls, Philippine and a couple others. We were going to try them all. Then we went to 369 Shanghai. We didn't know what to expect from the humble surroundings. So, we tried (what else?) won-ton soup and Orange Chicken. I took my first sip of soup broth and thought this is really flavorful. Then I tried the wonton itself. I though it was great. And that was a usually flavorless wonton!! We went on to the Orange chicken. It was fantastic. Everyone else is selling bread nuggets and passing them off as chicken. Not this place. I found a piece of something in there and it turned out to be Orange peel. I was amazed some actually uses oranges to make orange chicken! The waitresses are very nice and steer us westerners away from the foods we obviously would not like. The prices are more than reasonable, but the FOOD IS THE BEST CHINESE FOOD IN THE WORLD! You can see the guys making it in the kitchen through a little window in front of the restaurant. You can see every dish being made from scratch with no frozen or precooked ingredients used. I take every body I know there and just can't say enough about it!!! GO THERE!

PROS: THE BEST FOOD!!!
CONS: None
