Steve took the initiative to contact us in September of 2005, right after we had made a web inquiry to the Prudential network. At that time, we were in a difficult situation. With our parents having passed away some years ago, the house had fallen into serious disrepair and there was a cloud over the title. I was frankly at a loss of what to do. Fortunately, Steve was there to give us guidance on establishing title and developing a cost-effective strategy to turn our fixer-upper house into a showcase property.
Throughout this process and the extensive renovations that followed, Steve truly performed above and beyond, from helping me make the most of my time when I was in California to serving as my go-between with painters, electricians, city inspectors and the like when I was here on the East Coast. I can say without exaggeration that he saved us weeks of time and thousands of dollars in getting the house ready for market. He also provided invaluable assistance in helping my brother find a new home.
Once we were ready to list, Steve did a great job of marketing the property and presenting us with the offers that soon began to come in. He kept us from giving in to discouragement after a first escrow fell through, and quickly got us another offer (along with backup offers) that ended in a sale at a price that we were happy with.
From our first meeting with Steve to the closing of escrow and beyond, he acted in a professional and highly ethical manner. We are fortunate to have been able to work with him and to get to know him personally. I would recommend Steve to anyone wishing to buy or sell a home in the greater Pasadena area.
